We bought a camera on 19 feb 2015 from Datamation in guwahati for Rs 12995 and Model no is CANON SX - 600 HS (B).

After few months o[censored]se it got dead, as it was in warranty period we approached our nearer service center (ASF guwahati Authorized service franchisee house, No 203 DEE CEE VILLA NEAR CITY HEART NURSHING HOME RAJGARH ROAD GUWAHATI ASSAM Guwahati- 781007 Assam, India) in month of november 23 2015.

But after repeated phone calls and follow up for last three months with the service manager, we are unable to track the exact status of our camera. It is very pathetic service that we are facing and the excuses of service manger are also very silly.

Request you to look into it very urgently and solve the issue.

I bought a camera on 19 feb 2015 and the Model no is CANON SX - 600 HS (B).

After few months of very rare occasional use it got dead, actually the switch was not working and battery was unable to take the load the camera automatically gets switched off after few sec. The camera was given to service center of guwahati, and after regular follow ups they started to say it is in kolkata for repair, and last week they told me a new camera has been send but sales tax department has caught/ ceased it.


Today my dad actually got a call that in the morning to collect a new camera. I visited the store and they gave me a naked camera without any box/ memory card or any invoice/ voucher. As the serial no has changed and how would i authenticate that it is a new or old camera and the condition of the camera seems to be an of old camera, on asking that the person sitting their told me that it is a new camera and your pervious invoice will suffice if you face any further problem with this camera.
I found it very illogical that how the previous bill will suffice if i face any futher problem with this camera as the serial no is different.
More over it was promised that it will come with an extended warranty which they are not giving now.

I denied taking the camera and asked for a new/ my camera with proper authentication.

Plz resolve the issue.
