Canon India Pvt Ltd — Bad & Insulting behavior of CANON INDIA TEAM & Service centre.

My name is SHIVAM GUPTA([protected]) i am a very OLD customer of canon i start using Canon camera with Model A540 after that i purchased A550 if you ask me why u upgraded the model it was just this i am gadget savvy and keep updating with BEST camera available in the market my only choice is CANON because i never faced a single Problem with CANON its been total 5 year am using CANON camera and trust me i never faced Any single problem.
Because of Such trust In Sep 2010 i again decided to choose CANON camera and that time i purchased SX210IS Camera which was the best camera available in CANON i purchased for 19500 Trust me everyone told me that there is no need to purchase such a expensive camera from Canon because there service was not good GO for SONY in such amount but i decide to go CANON as my experience was very very GOOD and also the best part was i was getting 2 year warranty as told By croma People while purchasing the handset, at that time i was very happy.
Now the problem start in Dec 2010 when i decided to purchase screen guard protector to protect my Digital screen of CAMERA trust me i run pillar to post but i fail to find the same. But as we do not need camera every where you just need occasionally so i ignored that but i purchased Cover for the same to keep it protected. Now in OCT 2011 i start facing hanging problem in the camera, I was shocked that how isit possible as it was working fine. I changed my memory card thought may be it was 80% full due to that may be it was getting HANG. But i ignored the same as LACK of time and it was not on regular base but in NOV some other problem started Camera getting restart if i use it regularly for 15 20 Min, But this was really shocking.
I Send my Office personal to Gurgaon service center with the bill to get it service. But THE WORST AND SHOCKING was they refused to entertain the warranty i talked to them on phone with help of personal which was there in the Service center. The executive who was talkin to me on call was very rude on me.
The reason was i didn't register the product ONLINE i try making understand that executive that I was not aware and even no one in the store make me understand that i have to register the same. Still from LAjpat NAgar to Gurgaon i wasted my office boy time and money and didn't get the solution.
Now i already register my product with CANON with email id [protected]@hotmail.com.
But I refuse to repair my handset i need Replacement ASAP otherwise i will contact Consumer forum or mediation center for Harassing your customer and such a bad experience with CANON after spending 20000 Rs What bad experience i faced.
I Need solution ASAP.

Cannon — Ink cartridge

I had bought a canon mp160 print-scan-copy from Quantum Technologies, Palta. It had one year Principal Warranty. After 3 months I noticed that the color cartridge's ink was leaking out from all sides. I called up the shopowner & then the nearest service center. Then the shop owner responded after nearly 20 days. He took the full Printer and told that the cartridges will be replaced. Then after many days they came back with my printer with scratch marks on it & told that the company personnel had told that it cannot be replaced. I had got very much harassed. Now the ink had fully finished. I am still waiting for proper actions.

Cannon — bad service

i had got my camera (CANNON IXUS80) a year back.it had a warranty of 2 yrs..now i am facing a problem that the zoom button was not working and also the flash does not come sometimes.when approached the service centre, they said that the camera has physical damage and so will be charged. after a week when i went to collect it, then there was soem other problem in it now..the click button has become very hard.There was no such problem before ...They claim that it was already existing and said they will repair that too if i was ready to pay them 2000 more.If everything has to be paid, then WHAT COMES UNDER WARRANTY ...?????

Personal — Call Center Service / Customer trust

Dear Sir, may you be having a good day, I do not know who to go for to get this issue through to Vodafone top management, however being the corporate responsibility team, I reckon you are there to ensure the corporation and its subsideries are operating responsibly, and most importantly towards the consumer. Well I encountered this incident more than once and I feel I need to get it through to someone who can act on it. I am a vodafone customer in Egypt and I was using the visa call center service trying to get an appointment for the French embassy. this embassy being one of the busyiest embassies, appointments are usually taken months ahead. any ways I called the center alomst daily for an appointment and the answer i always recieved was that there was no time slots free for an appointment. I was calling almost every day from mid April and the answer I got was that May appointments are all closed (taken) and do not know when French Embasst will open the month of June, till one day, the 30th of April specifically (Thursday) I call the call center and i am told that the Embassy is closed on the weekend and appointments for June will be out on Sunday the 3rd of May, so I call on Sunday at 07:05 PM Cairo time and i am told that appointments will be available the following day (Monday 4th May), so I call on Monday 4th of May at 01:35 PM and then I am told that appointment for half of the month of June were available on the day before and they all got booked. So where is the crdibility there, talking about consumer trust there seem to be something that is not right. Well, anyways, I continue to call daily till the 12th of May hoping that appointments for the second half of June are available, I get same reply, no appointments, till the 12th when I call the call center at 09:06 AM and I am told there are no appointments, I call again at 03:05 after a friend tells me that he got an appointment on that day, I call and I am still told that there are no appointments, after I make a fuss and say that my friend just got an appointment, I am told that the Embassy opened appointments for the second half of June and they are all booked now, I get very furious of course, no trust what so ever to what I am hearing anymore and I insist that I make a complain, a manager comes on the phone and somehow he, trying to calm me down, he tries to help and tells me that in 5 mins someone from the call center will call me to give me an appointment. this did happen and I took an appointment on the 23rd of June. what kind of responsibility towards your consumer is this, what kind of consumer trust you are talking about, Vodafone has completely lost its credibility to me. I am very furious and I need someone to handle such incidents. they are happening with many, me myself and after telling frieds about this incident, I hear so many similar stories. You can check by listening to the phone calls as I know they are recorded, please go back to the records and times and check foryourself, but please do something about this.

CANON INDIA PVT LTD — NON REPAIR OF THE CAMERA

CANON CAMEA MODEL NO.PS A 480 WAS PURCHASED IN THE MONTH OF JAN-10 WITHIN ONE WEEK OF PURCHASE IT STOPPED WORKING, I WAS DIRECTED TO APPROACH CANON SERVICE CENTRE BY DEALER, BUT CANON SAYS IT CANNOT BE REPAIRD AND ADVISE TO BUY NEW ONE.
