As I have attended interview in Capgemini I got selected. I have been offered HR said to put notice period in my current company. It almost two months notice I served. Before some 10days of joining HR given me the Welcome Kit and onboarding form to fill all details. Two months notice over I called HR on my date of joining. HR said I need to wait due to BGV(Background Verification) status in progress. I waited almost 50 days. I followed up the mails regularly every three days but no response from BGV team from the past 50 days. Still I didn't get any response, even my HR escalated the follow up mails then also no response from BGV team.
Finally I got placed in another company. I joined there.
What I want to tell here is for the company like "Capgemini" first do the interview process then immediately do the BGV process, then at last offer the candidates to join and ask them to serve notice. Until BGV is not cleared don't ask them to put the notice in their current company. Don't make us jobless. This is trending with company like Capegemini offering most of the candidates making them jobless.
What they will do if they didn't get job for next 1 year if they have lot of loans, emi, and other commitments.
For candidates try to hold two or more offer when you are been selected in BGV process based companies. because they using that as strategy to fire the candidates as per their need. Was this information helpful? |
