I received a text with following particulars:
"Maharashtra Police invites you to pay your Traffic Challan through the Online Lok Adalat, via Sama. Click here: https://sama.live/mnotice.php?caseid=MH12PM5344"
On clicking the link I was asked my vehicle number and last 4 digits of my chassis number. On entering the requisite info I was taken to a link which states that Rs. 2, 000/- is what I must pay for clearing my e-challan.
Challan No. - HSPCC[protected]
Violation Date & Time - 19-Dec-2022 13:07
I knew that I was not in GHOTI Location on the above mentioned date. And the I dig deeper to know what image have they captured. I found a car that is out on road with my 2 wheeler number and also my mobile number is receiving a notice. Resolve this ASAP, else I will have to log an FIR or go to cyber crime unit to report this.
