[Resolved] Career Hammer — cheating to job seeker by false commitment | |||||
Career hammer cheated me and taken money of rs 3250 by giving wrong commitment Mr varun said i am shortlisted in untratech and prism cement and career hammer is going to organise interview but i have get register with career hammer so that i can attend interview to be possible. Also mr varun shared one time charges is rs 3250 and further no amount need to be paid. Somehow i convinced for interview with ultratech and prism and made the payment with support of varun online. After paid of rs 3250 varun said thanks and wait for another call from senior will take further process for interview with above company. After 15 mins senior called me and insist me to go through career hammer website for further process. He told me to click one option where another service which charges 7500/-. Forced me to paid. Suddenly i started angry, after couple of discussion had with seniors he told me if i not pay money only resume display will continue and i am not going to attend any interview with above company. I requested to transfer my call to varun, same word shared by varun and also said this is our daily job, we take money from you kind of fool job seekers. You can whatever you like to do we will not refund money and also not arrange any interview for you. Career hammer said, your consultancy is joint venture with times job. This statement also i have shared to times job complain site. As of now i had paid Rs 195000 from June but still i didn't get an job more than 7 months am waiting . very wort and fraud consultant. they drunk my blood. Am very much believed this career hammer but they cheated me. Now they didn't took my call. So please help me out from this.i had given compliant in police also. They doing there best.

It's definitely a fraud!! Please beware of such consultancies. Professional consultants do not charge their candidates and only charge the clients upon closure of the positions. They have charged my friend 1.75 Lakh, even before they got him interviewed anywhere and then they stop taking calls. The customer care number is also not valid- nobody answers the calls.

I do not understand:
1. Why should the candidate pay for getting the job, I mean look and learn from naukri and monster or TimesJob they don't even call people for giving a job in exchange for money.You need to understand job is not a commodity that you go and buy off the market.
2. People need to be more aware such a thing always is a scam.
3. Job recruiting agencies which are legitimate get their fair share from the companies where the candidates get hired and the recruiting agency gets something like a finder's fee, which is fair and moves on like clockwork.
The rec agency can definitely advertise their services like resume writing, promoting resumes etc.
but why take money for getting a job for someone, what about the candidates credibility for the job.

And yes I did get a call and told them directly on the phone that they are running a scam, and they just hang up without any further explanation.

My self vikash sharma([protected]).I m the victim of career hammer recently(17.01.2018)These website is a cheat, they have looted my 11000/- on account of fixing interview with major companies, 1st they ask for 3250 amt.after that they ask verification charges which is 9500rs whn i refuse to pay they told ok sir, u pay 7500 rs.i pay that.after that they say u need not to pay single rs which i take in written. thn after they arrange some fake kind of telephonic interview.After interview told ur interview is done.all are ok u hv to pay 29950rs for comfirmation. i pay that i think it is last charges.But after they again demand money of rs45000.At that point i say no i will not pay single rs., when i refused they told that my account cant be created and they will also not refund my money. They are bloody cheat and fraud, my hard earned 42000/- is gone and they are not providing any refund, i will lodge an fir against the website and the number from which they have called.
Incident happened on 17/01/2018.
