My car was brought to the worshop on 31stAug for Accessory fitting. During that time it was noticed that the MI light on the cluster is constantly glowing. So the car was given for servicing after accessory fitting. Late evening I was told that the scanning was showing “check the wiring”. Since it was late evening he advised me to bring the car back on 3rd Sept when it would be taken up for servicing.
Accordingly the car was given for servicing on 3rd Sept vide repair order no SO208092 dtd 3rdSept .
On 4th Sept I was informed about the replacement of MI harness which had to be ordered since it is not readily available in the spare stock & they would procure the same, it would take 2/3 days time. SA requested to bring the car back on 7th Sept to fix the same even though I take the delivery of the car next day. But the car was not delivered as the spare was not available till that day.
On my repeated follow up I was told that the spare will arrive at the workshop tentatively on 20th Sept. No Surety.......
During these days It was I who was kept enquiring about my car, not a single time the workshop called me and appraised me of the situation.
Pathetic Customer Relationship:
Even The VW claims to have “customer care”, they never respond. On the toll free services the executive told me that my complaint was registered and I would be getting a sms with complaint no so the same can be used for future communication. No SMS with complaint regn no till date.........
Same with the mail service. Even after sending 2 mails to the id no response till date.
Not a single time I got the impression that my case was seriously considered by the workshop management.
Poor inventory management even though the factory is just 4 hrs away from the city.
15 days passed and do not know how many more days will pass like this.......
