Lapse and Lack of responsibility

Earlier this month, my VW Taigun had a fuel line which got damaged and so I towed my vehicle to the VW service centre in Verna, Goa on 9th January 2026. I asked for the price for replacing the damaged fuel pipe and i was told by the service attendant that it would cost about INR 5000. Service Workshop Location at Thane city

Dear Sir,
Recently, the Volkswagen Thane service workshop has shifted to a new location at Padwa Nagar, Wagle Estate. I visited the location on 18 Oct 2025, for addressing my car's accident. Clutch plate issue

Same as all it is just 21000kms and they are saying this is issue with driving which is no sign of it and suddenly break down and I am traveling with my wife and faced a lot of issues at night and next day I have to go back to important work and have given money of 17500Rs. 3 clutch failures in 2 years | vw taigun | ignored escalations & forced payment

3 clutch failures in 2 years — under just 20, 000 km(90% Highway Riding). Volkswagen blames it on “overdriving”, a convenient and vague explanation. But I’ve driven a Maruti for years in the same conditions — never once faced a clutch issue.

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding my distressing experience with Volkswagen’s certified pre-owned vehicle platforms. My issues are detailed under Case Nos. MED18850534 and CCR19108345 and revolve around significant concerns that require immediate attention.

Issues Faced:
Lack of Transparency: I received booking confirmations for vehicles without any follow-up communication. When I contacted customer support, I was asked for a booking confirmation number that is not provided on the website, creating unnecessary confusion.

Misleading Sales Practices: I frequently observed cars listed as available on the website, only to be informed by dealership staff that these vehicles were sold or unavailable. Most recently, when a car was finally shown to me, it was priced significantly higher than expected, which further raises concerns about the accuracy of their listings.

Quality Concerns: During the inspection of one vehicle, I discovered serious issues, including odometer tampering and undisclosed accident history. These findings starkly contradict Volkswagen’s claims of rigorous inspections and certified quality.

Attempts at Resolution:
I have made numerous attempts to resolve these issues directly with Volkswagen India and their customer care representatives. However, my concerns remain unaddressed, and the lack of adequate responses has left me feeling frustrated and disillusioned as a customer.

Request for Intervention:
I kindly request the Consumer Complaint Forum’s assistance in resolving this matter. I urge Volkswagen India to:

Provide Full Transparency on vehicle availability and pricing.
Ensure Proper Inspection and certification of pre-owned cars, including disclosure of any tampering or accident history.
Engage Meaningfully with customers to address and resolve complaints effectively.
If this matter is not addressed promptly, I will be forced to explore legal channels to seek resolution.

    Taigun 1.0 MT clutch issue in 4,000 kms

    My car clutch broke down at 4, 000 kms and after getting it fixed at the service centre again it got burnt in 4, 000 kms
    Vw has refused to honour warranty.
    The dealership is refusing Technical evaluation for the car and saying that this will not be covered under warranty even though the issue has come back again....

    Dear Consumer Forum,

    I am writing to complaint against the Volkswagen Service Center PPS motors Pvt Ltd located on Old Airport Road, Bangalore, regarding the substandard service and unprofessional conduct I experienced on 26th July 2024. The service was supposed to be the third-year maintenance for my Taigun vehicle TN12AQ6093 scheduled due to my imminent travel plans. Despite explaining the urgency and dropping off the vehicle on 25th July, the service provided was far below acceptable standards.

    A significant issue I reported was the malfunctioning of the driver-side window, which posed a serious safety risk. The window would go down completely before moving up when prompted. This was particularly concerning in case of emergencies, such as a snatching attempt. The service advisor, Mr. Lojith, recommended and proceeded with a switch change to address this issue. However, the problem remained unresolved, which I only noticed the following day due to my travel schedule.

    Upon discovering the unresolved issue, I had to disrupt my travel plans and return to the service center to speak with Mr. Lojith. He assured me that the issue would be resolved and advised me to email their CRM team for a refund. Despite numerous follow-ups via email, WhatsApp messages, and calls, Mr. Lojith has been unresponsive and unreachable.

    Additionally, I was unjustly charged for cleaning services that I neither requested nor were part of the regular maintenance service. The cleaning was inadequate, as the vehicle was returned with significant dust accumulation and required a redo. The staf[censored]sed dirty microfiber cloths, leaving the vehicle still unclean. This is unacceptable and demonstrates a lack of professionalism and attention to detail.

    Despite escalating the matter to the service customer relationship head, no action has been taken to address my concerns or process the promised refund. This level of service is unacceptable and appears to be a deliberate attempt to overcharge customers while delivering substandard services. There is not even a single phone call or response from the service centre to provide solution to the issue raised.

    I am requesting immediate intervention from the consumer forum to ensure that my concerns are addressed and a full refund is processed for the unsatisfactory services. I also seek assurance that such incidents will not occur in the future to other customers.

    Thank you for your attention to this matter.

      I am Dr. Kumudha from Bangalore.. I purchased VW Taigun highline model in Dec 2023. From the delivered time onwards, I am getting a hissing noise and some other noise from AC which is quite disturbing while driving. I seriously feel that there is a problem in AC and in spite of repeated requests and chat, people ( dealers /service) are not responding properly. This is the first time we bought a VW ( owned various models/brands for the past 20 years) and we feel why we bought this VW vehicle.
