Cars24 — Release of my Hold Payment related to NoC and Challans

Dear Cars24 Customer Support / Escalation Team,
I am writing to formally escalate my complaint regarding the unjustified withholding of my payment against the sale of my vehicle.
Vehicle Registration Number: HR26CW7453
Appointment ID: [protected]
At the time of sale, Cars24 withheld approximately:
₹20, 000 towards hypothecation/NOC.
₹45, 500 towards pending challans.
I have already fulfilled all the conditions required for the release of these amounts. Specifically:
The hypothecation has been cleared and the Bank NOC has been submitted.
All pending challans have been paid in full and you can check the status online.
Despite complying with all your requirements, the withheld amount has still not been released.
I have contacted your customer support multiple times, but the matter remains unresolved. This unexplained delay is causing unnecessary financial hardship and is completely unacceptable.
I request that Cars24:
Release the entire withheld amount of approximately ₹65, 500 (or the exact amount due) to my registered bank account.
Provide written confirmation of the payment timeline.
Please treat this as a final escalation. If the payment is not credited within 2 days of receipt of this email, I will be constrained to initiate appropriate legal proceedings, including filing a complaint before the Consumer Commission, seeking recovery of the withheld amount, interest for the delayed payment, compensation for harassment, and litigation costs, without any further notice.

I have sent the same mail on your emails [protected]@cars24.com, [protected]@cars24.com, [protected]@cars24help.zendesk.com and so far I'm controlling my words about your non professional dealings so far.

I hope Cars24 resolves this matter promptly and avoids unnecessary legal proceedings.

Regards,
Subodh Agrawal
