Cars24 Services — Initiating and Generating credit report without consent

On 3rd-Feb-2025, cars24 inspection team came to my place Madurai and inspected my car as i want to sell it.

Post inspection they said that they will check and update the price of the car.
I did not provide my PAN or Aadhar card number.

I received email on 3-Feb-2026 at 9:08 AM IST, which states that CARS24 generated a Credit Report based on my confirmation. I never provided any consent for generating my credit report. I have also not authorized any loan application or hard inquiry under my name.

The unauthorized hard inquiry was done by cars24 without my knowledge/confirmation.

Now this action is totally unacceptable. This comprises my privacy as a consumer. I demand a legal action needs to be taken such that this same issue is not faced by some other individual.
