Central Bank Of India — two debits made against a single transaction | |||
On 10.12.2019 i used my aspire credit card no.4687...4000 at vasavi santosh superstore for making a payment of rs, 718. When they first tried they said transaction failed. They used another pso machine and the transaction was successful. However i received two debit messages. I contacted the merchant who then checked with his bank and said that they had received only one payment and advised us to approach central bank of india. When i called the bank they advised me to submit a dispute application. I sent an email. They again advised the same. I filled up the application and emailed to them on 20.12.2019. When they did not acknowledge the same i again sent an email. They informed that settlement of dispute takes 45-60 days from date of filing dispute. Now it is more than 90 days.
