Pathetic services provided by the bank to senior citizen

Dear Sir,

I am writing to bring to your attention an issue concerning the Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) deducted from my account in the first quarter of this financial year.[protected] Despite the deduction being made, it is not reflecting in my Form 26AS. Additionally, I would like to highlight that in the previous year, the TDS was erroneously shown twice.

As a valued customer of Central Bank of India since 2007, I have always trusted your bank for its accuracy and reliability in handling financial transactions. However, these discrepancies in TDS reporting have caused significant inconvenience and concern regarding the accuracy of my tax records.

I kindly request your immediate intervention to address this issue. Please instruct your IT team to review the records and ensure that the TDS deducted in the first quarter is correctly reflected in my Form 26AS. It is crucial for your team to maintain zero errors in the reporting process to prevent any further discrepancies. So, that I can file my ITR on or before 31st July, 2024. If any penalty occurs your Bank will be responsible for that. My PAN are AEVPT9612C, BFHPK4962G & AATHA3871L

I trust that you will treat this matter with urgency and resolve it at the earliest. Please keep me informed about the progress and the resolution of this issue.

    I am Rupsa Mukherjee. I am complaining on behalf of my mother Tanima Mukherjee regarding the negligence and the delay in cooperation from CENTRAL BANK OF INDIA in regards to sending Clearance to [censored]AO Pension office.

    Since 2021 my mother has been struggling with this.She is an aged person and has been trying all the possible ways to get the pension transferred to her name. She has provided all the relevant documents that was asked by the [censored]AO Eastern Railway Pension Department and after all relevant verifications the Pension department has sent the first letter to CPPC CENTRAL BANK OF INDIA MUMBAI HEADQUARTERS on October 2023 for asking the clearance and few other details to get the full complaince and start the pension. However since then Central bank is not cooperating and although they are sending details after sending reminders they are sending it half which is causing more and more delay.

    At first I went to Central Bank Tollygunj branch and they informed that they can only share the last statement and does not hold main ppo order for which we would need to contact the Mumbai branch. As a common people it is not possible for me to travel to Mumbai and since it is the job for the Pension Department to send reminders hence we approached and complaint through cpengrams about Pension team and then they sent letters to Mumbai branch asking for clearance and the main PPO order and if they do not have that then to send them the Loss Certificate. Couple of days passed and reminders were being sent and as there was still no response so I had to complaint to RBI Ombudsman. Complaint ref was (RB-IOS)- N[protected] where they informed that they have issued the Loss certificate and need to contact Pension team again for main PPO order and closed the complaint from their end. I again contacted the eastern railway pension office and they informed again that the bank is not sending full compliance details and that they are sending another letter asking for details. I have then logged another ombudsman complaint ref N[protected] providing them with the full details of what the pension office wants to get the process compliant fully and start the pension and it has been over a month no response has been sent to me from bank’s end.

    Basically we are moving in circles from pension office to bank and bank to pension office and nobody is ready to sort the issue out causing unnecessary delay and stress.

    We are struggling with this since 2021 and now at this verge the bank is not sending the full details properly. Hence I need help in this matter to get this resolved and to start the pension for my mother.

    I have all the relevant documents and the reminders but unable to upload them due to confidential information. I request someone from the team to contact the bank and help me in resolving this as soon as possible. I have shared the Ombudsman number in the attachment which should explain all.

      I have visited ATM premises for setting ATM pin. Since the concern branch ( Hassari Jhansi) has installed Passbook printing KIOSK in ATM premises. There were already feq people inside the ATM premises. I have requested them to wait outside as i have to set my ATM pin but none of them bothered. It is clearly the violation of customer data privacy. What if a burgler or a theif is already waiting inside ATM premises in the name of passbook printing but snatch your hard earned money or harm you physically or both the cases. Bank should take approproate action in this serious concern.
      If not complaint will be raised at other government portals too.

        On 1.12.23, I gave my requests in writing to Shalimar Garden Sahibabad branch( branch no. 284023) for - 1. Change of Mobile number, 2. Change of address (both as per Aadhar) and 3. Activation of Internet Banking at my CIF. On processing my requests partially, Mr. Rohit, the concerned Official of the Bank branch informed me on 1.12.23 that my requests have been sent to RO.
        Now, today is 13th day, but I have not received any message confirming implementation of final action on my requests. Whenever, I enquire about it from Bank. I am told it will take 1-2 days. I am residing at Greater Noida and it is not possible to visit the branch frequently. I have already brought it to the notice of Branch Manager. The matter has already been delayed abnormally. Hence, attention is being drawn to expedite the matter. I can't change the branch easily as this is my pension branch.

              I am, Girish M Netke, from Kolhapur, Maharashtra. I am having NRE account in Central Bank of India Laxmi Puri branch. My account not accepts amount transfer in SAR. I have communicated this issue several times to Forex department. But till date there is no response from them. See below last mail sent to forex department on 6th Nov 2023

              I am, Girish M Netke, from Kolhapur. I have NRE account in your Laxmipuri, Kolhapur branch. My account number is [protected]. I am working as a Information Security consultant for one Company based out of Riyadh, KSA. I have completed the project and payment is due. My contract is in Saudi Arabian Riyals, that means company will transfer payment in Saudi Arabian Riyals. I would like to know, whether my NRE account will accept SAR currency, or I will have to do any process to accept SAR in my NRE account.
              Last year I worked for the same company and company tried to transfer money in SAR to my NRE account, but it was rejected at Central bank end with notification SAR not accepted. The Company tried several times and then lastly, I have to request them to transfer to other account in State Bank, which delayed my payment by three months. Last year also I had email communication with you, but there was no response. I tried to take support from Laxmipuri branch, but from branch also, I got similar reply, that they didn't get reply from forex department.
              To avoid this situation again, I am sending this email in advance. Please let me know, whether my NRE account will accept SAR currency or not? If not, then I will close the NRE account immediately.

              Please solve this issue at your earliest.

                I m a pensioner and maintaining my pension account in central bank of india jyoti nagar Delhi and i m getting 85 thousands pension .On 9.10.23 I meet to bank manager and asked to provide personal loans of rupees 5 lakh but he refused and said we are not giving loan to pensioner and said to give application for the loan amount( application attached) and again said to mention PPO NUMBER WITH DEPARTMENT NAME on the application. He has humiliated me and forcially said, we will reply to this application, and declined the loan. Is it the way to demoralise a pensioner? On 26.10.23 I visited the bank and met the bank manager, bank manager gave a letter ( attached)to me mentioning illogical reasoning because I ' m maintaining my pension account in this bank only. i can not give bribes so kindly take necessary action and give instructions to provide personal loan

                      Bank overcharged RS. 2639/- as interest on dated[protected] as shown in the statement.

                      On 30th August Uncleared balance is Rs. 962, 761.40/- on which 10.30% is charging.

                      Calculation will be:

                      (962, 761.40*10.30%/12 months) = Rs. 8263.70/- (Actual Interest)
                      But debited amount as interest = Rs. 10, 903.00/- (Overcharged Rs. 2639.29).

                              But my bank branch is not providing me yearwise detail.
                              Please lookinto the matter and resolve the issue at the earliest as last date for itr is 31/07/2023.

                                Alresdy mention details in complaint no.269706 and 268818 and my mail dt.04/07/2023 and 13/07/2023. Excess advace locker rent amount till date not refunded.Locker fvg. Subhash dhawan ec. Staff .Cif no.[protected] m no. [protected] .Pf.No.042341 and savita dhawan cif no.[protected]. Since last 22years advance locker rent debited as concessional rate as per staff rate only this year on 01/07/2023 debit rs. 2714/- from a/c [protected] please refund the excess amount.
