Centre For Railway Information Systems — payment debited but tickets not booking

I have booked the local season ticket using the uts application on my android phone.

The payment was done through upi and settled, the payment has proceeded but the payment aggregator paytm showed a server error and the application crashed.

On reloading the application the ticket has not been booked. Customer service is of no help at all, bluntly redirecting me from one department to another.

This issue with the payment aggregator has been going on since a very long time. I tried three times. Once the payment failed altogether, second time the payment went through, but there was no booking of tickets due to server error and the third time the ticket was booked.

For a ticket cost of 150 inr, i have spend 300 inr every 2-3 months and it is unacceptable of the customer care to not take any action.

Resolution: refund the debited amount.

Another issue of note is that the application does not work often and has issues with the storage of tickets to show the conductor. It constantly needs network and is immensely useless in dire situations.

I would be very happy if someone takes up any action.
