Chapteronebookstores — Not providing refund

Hi,
I had placed an order with Chapteronebookstores in the month of Sept 2021. Order number is[protected]. Received 2 out of 3 books. The amount of 3rd book is 1200+₹. Kept waiting and writing to them about it and they kept giving reasons to not provide the book. Finally after more than 6 months of waiting, I requested for refund, which they initially denied. Finally I had to threaten them with consumer complaint, when they agreed for refund. But, after that they started giving excuses to not give refund. Its been more than 2 months since they agreed for refund, but nothing has come yet. Now, they have removed my account from their site and so I do not have access to my purchase details.

This is the exact same issue I faced with their parent company the bigbookbox. Where I had to give a consumer complaint and that’s when they provided a refund finally, after a year. Please help me to get my refund from them. They close all my tickets without providing a resolution.

I think you should take a hefty compensation too from them. Only then they will stop fooling people like this. I am pretty sure this has happened to many others too.
