As you may recall, during the COVID-19 lockdown imposed by the government, several relaxations were announced to ease the financial burden on individuals. One such relaxation was the temporaray suspensions or relaxation of EMI payments. It was my understanding that, as per the government's directives, the EMI deductions from my account would be temporarily suspended for a few months.
So, during that I visited the branch 2-3 days prior to my EMI deduction date every month. But the chhapra branch in bihar didn't mention anything related to the charges will be charged if you pay you emi directly from branch, they silently took EMI money and they provided me the receipt for the same.
As lack of information and the staff at the branch failed to inform me the imposition of additional charges for making the payment at the branch.
I believe it is unfair for me to bear these charges to the payment when i was unaware of any charges to the payment process.
Specifically, I would appreciate it if you could waive off the additional charges imposed on me for making the EMI payment at the Branch.
