I wanted to do prepayment of my loan (Against property in individual name) in may but they are charging 4% foreclosure charges against rbi rule. It is already august now and i am still made to pay installments. No help is provided from nagpur branch manager. Kindly suggest what can be done. Please help us to find if such charges are necessary to pay.

    Policy no. 3362/01071448/000/01 claim no. [protected] after telephonic confirmation from claim facilitator, i paid all mechanic charges. Now, he is not considering that amount. I contacted two senior persons but no one is replying. Initially they told me to submit accident statement on blank paper, but now they wants on stamp paper. They forcing me to close this asap or it will cancel. Plz, check attached conversation.

    Response received from insurance company:
    We request you to please note that we have escalated your issues to our claims team for clarifications on your claim # [protected]. Our claims team has again reviewed on your claim. We regret to inform you that it is confirmed from our claims team that our liability is shared to you only after complete survey by our claims team and cannot be reconsidered. The bills shared by you are not authorized dealer bills; hence for these bills our claims team takes into consideration, the market value standard price. On the basis of this market price value, our claims team have concluded on our liability and shared you the same.

    How insurance company calculated market price? This is their duty to guide me and communicate with in this procedure. I already pay all amount to mechanic after telephonic approval. Now, how they reduce amount in parts as well as mechanic charges, completely nonsense.

        Dear sir/madam,
        I have purchased a commercial vehicle and financed it through cholamandalam finance and cholamandalam insurance.
        The time of purchasing i was told that if you buy both insurance and finance with same company, then we give all the benefits. But now when there is accident - these people are giving now so many reasons and saying i should be paying the accidental amount first then the will release the claim that too whenever they want.

        Therefore i am approaching to consumer court and see what help do i get.

          I had taken a car loan from cholamandalam finance of amount rs.200500 for 60 months, and that too they even disbursed amount of rs.192000..and repaying my loan after 13 months i sold my car, so it made me to preclosure my loan.i had paid an amount of 52000 within this 13 months..and they charged me to pay 184000 to foreclosure my loan.so where is the justice here.?
          Please take this into concern.

            Hi,

            My car number is TN 05 AK 3711. On 8-Sep-2016 it met an accident because a dog crossed a road. I have an insurance with Cholamandalam MS insurance company. My Insurance number is 3362/01245345/000/00. And my claim number is [protected]. Its been handled by Surendiraraj.G and his mobile number is [protected].

            After all documents submitted my car sent to the carriage. After all repair i paid around 12000rs.

            After bill submitted to the insurence company Surendiraraj telling very less price for all spars and he is telling its an MRP price the quotation he took from Khivraj Velacherrry( Khivraj Velacherry is a two wheeler service center.)

            Then I put conference for him and Khivraj they are telling the price is bumper price alone 2450 and painting charge is 3600 labor extra.

            But he is bargaining and trying to prove that the bumper cost is 1800 and painting charge is 2850.

            And he is telling the way he speaks is normal which i felt very harsh.

            Then he is telling the bill is not from authorized maruthi dealer .
            After consulted him only I gave the car to Vinayaga Auto tech workshop.

            I gave all the bills.

              My father in law has taken Chola MS car insurance for his Hyundai Santro car.
              Certificate number is 3362/00897448/000/02.

              Claim number 1698167 was launched against this policy on 15th September 2016. Till today(26 September 2016) they have not approved the claim.
              After 4/5 days surveyor had visited once the garage and verbally approved the claim but same day evening they called and asked to wait till further communication.
              They are supposed to do a 2nd visit but no response from Chola surveyor / manager on the same.
              Our car is lying in garage for last 10days with no output.
              Tremendously horrible service and response from Chola MS. Would request concerned authority to deal such dishonest companies so that customers do not suffer in future .

                This was regarding the vehicle loan which we took from Cholamandalam finance few years back. We closed the loan with all dues in 2014. The customer care confirmed the closure of the loan and issuance of NOC from Cholamandalam head office on 17th May, 2014. When we approach the local branch office in Thane for taking the NOC and closure document, they denied for the issuance of NOC and closure of loan and ask for some settling(from 1.5 lac to 50K now) money. They don't even accept that loan account is closed. I confirmed this many times from Head office and customer care and they said its already closed(As per Cholamandalam head office) and i can ask for the duplicate copy of NOC from branch. But branch is not ready to give the NOC without extra money to them. Can someone help me how to overcome this issue with branch office staff for the duplicate NOC since i do not have the original copy which was already issues in 2014 from head office. I am 100% sure they asking money is not legal charges, since if it was legal charges there was no point of negotiating from 1.5 lacs to 50K. I hope some expert from Cholamandalam can help me for re-adressal of this issue or else i need to approach the local police since i know this is extreme extent of corruption now.                     We have taken a ipl silver health insurance plan through indusind bank ltd on dt 07.07.2010 in the name of sunhari devi. on dt.05.04.2011 a applicant in the name of manish kumar injured by accident and on dt.14.04.2011 he got expired. we have discussed with customercare and sent all required documents on dt.09.07.2011 via pod no.22926 thr courier overnite express courier. but executives of cholamandalam help care demands more docs on time on time and we have sent the same on time to time. last time they demand only admit and reliving card from hospital and we have sent the same thr courier on dt.26.09.2011 pod no.[protected] via courier overnite express and the same has been received by executive mr. kanan on dt.28.09.11 but after sent all required docs they have closed the case and we have reloaded a complaint for reopen the claim case via complaint no.809046. but after 15 days passed there are no response given by company and we are facing a lot of problems but unable to get any satisfy reply by company. pls do the needful on urgent basis and reimburse the amount regarding the claim.

                          We have taken a health insurance product from m/s. cholamandalam m s general insurance company through the south indian bank, vadodara hwt[protected]plan 6 family floater).

                          My sister k jayajyothy aged 39, was referred to cardiologist for shortness of breath and on 28 jan 2011 was adviced balloon mitral valvuloplasty by dr chauhan at atma jyoti cardiac clinic. the pre hospitalization request form was sent to chola for approval was denied for the reason of pre existing clause.

                          The clarification was sent to chola again and was not responded until i escalated to chief grievance officer, mr a. prabhakaran. further clarifications and earlier consultation papers were also submitted. it is once again denied on the original clause and that is not acceptable at all.

                          Further mr a. prabhakaran refuses to answer my query if i am allowed the second opinion and that makes the intentions of cholamandalam ms general insurance co. ltd questionable.

                          In view of the above kindly advice cholamandalam ms general insurance co. ltd to process the claim accordingly.

                          CHOLAMANDALAM MS GENERAL INSURANCE — HEALTH INSURANCE

                          I have Cholamandalam MS General Insurance health policy for my famiy since two years

                          and recently I paid premium of 7010/- on 17/11/2011 by icici bank,pune and additonal amout

                          of 350/- in cash

                          but to my surprise till date no mediclaim cards or payment received intimation done .

                          My advisor Mr.Jain was very helpful in this regard for collection of payment and Enquiries

                          but as a customer I found the whole matter not appropiate as per the insurance norms

                          and suitable to such a pioneer company in India.

                          I would like explanation from your end for same.

                              With regards to above mentioned policy, for the Hyndai i10, we had applied for the claim from Cholamandalam due to the accident of the car. But the claim was rejected citing reason from their end that we were lacking co-operation in sending the claim form and loss voucher within the stipulated time mentioned (giving us a lead time of just 5 days to complete formalities)


                              I would like to bring to attention that, for filling up the form, we required few days time and we had sent all the requested details within 8 days.

                              Despite repeated request to process claim, they have not bothered to take any action and have blatantly informed that ‘the file is closed’.

                                I had paid cheque no: 353440 drawn on Dhanalakshmi Bank Ltd for Rs.2960 dated 07/09/2010 towards renewal of my car insurance. I was provided temporary receipt vide cover note no: 8096102 dated 07/09/2010. Cheque has been debited in my account on 14/09/2010 but I am yet to receive policy documents. I had visited personally Regd. office of Chola MS in Chennai on 03/11/2010 and made complaint vide complaint no: 566528. I had also made complaint on Chola MS website and was provided with below response.

                                Inspite of several reminders and follow-up; I am yet to receive policy documents for renewal of my car insurance.

                                Car Insurance renewal — Non receipt of policy document/cover note

                                I have renewed Insurance policy for my Santro Xing TN-01-W-2859 today paying the premium amount of Rs. 2539 (old policy no.OG[protected]-00000839 expiring midnight of Aug 7 2009).I was told that an e-mail of the policy will be sent to me within half an hour of my payment which was at 1500 hrs on 7-8-09 and that a hard copy would be posted to the registered address. No cover note was issued.Till now I have not received any e-mail of the policy.I have already e-mailed the bajaj office regarding this at [protected]@bajajallianz.co.in and would like to register my complaint over shoddy customer service.The person who collected my premium amount is Mr. Manoj - cell no.[protected].I would hold Bajaj Allianz fully responsible if any issues arise due to this delay in issuing policy/cover note.

I have called there call center several times they just say its under investigation. I have send emails to them regarding this but still no response.
                                Also when i went to the indusind bank those who have sold me the particular product say they cannot help, and they also refused to renew my policy saying that the plans have changed and it cannot be renewed.

                                Please help me and suggest me what to do, feeling helpless.

                                  We bought a Mahindra Xylo in June 2009 and it was insured with Cholamandalam MS GIC. The car met with an accident on 9th January, 2010. The accident was a major which resulted to heavy casualties and the vehicle was damaged severely. The claim was lodged on April 13, 2010 and till date we have not heard from them. When we contact them they say just only one thing that we are looking for the best salvage value.

                                    Maine mere vehical hyundai getz ka insurance cholamandalam general insurance. co. ltd ka insurance karwaya tha. par jab accident claim kiya to bole k aapane ncb liya hua hai islie aapko claim nahi milega. i think cholamandalam general insurance co. bogus hai. jo claim k waqt customer ko fault me bata kar claim dene se mukar jata hai.

                                    Cholamandalam General Insurance Company — Insurance Claim - Car

                                    Dear officer,
                                    I am a loyal customer of cholamanadlam general insurance company (Policy no. 3362/00116125/000/02). My accent (Gle) car insurance is with thecompany since i both the car in 2007.

                                    So far my experience with your services is really good but i am struggling to get my present claim – 596403. My car got an accident on 14th december 10. The accident occurred while overtaking a car and my car got damage from both the side (Left & right side). On right side my both the doors were damaged and on left hand side the damage is above the front wheel.

                                    Workshop has given estimate but the surveyor has refused to incorporate the left hand side damage, which is not acceptable to me. I have informed many time on the toll free customer care number but only got one response and that oo was not satisfactory. As we are using our car for commuting office we need it urgently. Despite of showing my urgency to the surveyor and to the company we finaly got our car (Without considering left hand side damage) on 7th jan 2011.
