Used my IDBI bank atm to withdraw money from Citi bank atm in Commerzone, Yerwada, Pune. Tried 2 transactions of 10000 each. Every time transaction error was displayed and cash was not dispensed but deducted from account.

    I received a credit card statement saying, where they made a demand for paying 1147 for some charges. It's free for life card. This is unacceptable. There was no pending bills to be cleared. Never spend on my card for more than 6 months and nothing is due. And still getting statements asking to clear dues.
    So i asked them to close the cards. (Two cards where there). But they refuse to close. Citibank has no system to address consumer grievances.
    After that, i paid the amount that i never spent. Still refusing to close the account.

      This is my 2nd complaint on this forum and already raised 5times on citibank website.

      After expiry of my citibank credit card, bank shipped card to me. But i didn't received any. After i receive a msg from bank about delivery of card, i blocked it. After the same, bank never come back on the matter for 6 to 7 months, and now i am receiving annual fees messages for the card that is not active.

      I have filed my complaint on bank website for 5 times, but neither receive any call or mail from officials.
      Citibank customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

        citibank credit card noc for closure letter needed

        Hi team,
        There was some outstanding amount need to be paid from my side. I paid the total amount and requested for noc. I received noc from your side with no bank logo and stamp in that. Other bank not accepting that letter as there is no company logo and stamp. Tried several time on your ivr no's but it is disconnected all the time. Request you to do the needful.         I had a credit card from citi bank. I don't remember when i got this card but approx 6-7 years back. It was told to me it was a free card. The best part was it was an indian oil card where i could redeem the points against petrol. Then i good other better cards and stopped using this citibank card. I called citi bank to close this card and they told why i want to close this free card and can keep with me even if not using. Then i don't remember when i blocked the card (I got to know that recently that the card was blocked). Now i got the statement for sep 2019 for annual fee and for oc 2019 with fine. I don't have the card number also to call the customer care back. Then some how i got my 3 year old card number and called them. They are telling they have renewed the card and this is annual fee as i have not spent 30000 annually on the card. I told then that they should ask before renewing the card and how a blocked card is renewed. Hey are telling the card is blocked but the account is active. I mean common guys stop fooling customers like this. I am no going to pay any such fee or fine. This is complete non-sense and crap. I have called then and filled a complain but the answer was it won't be helpful and the fee can't be reverted. So i had no other option then complaining this here. The statement says the card ends with "5932". My name is anil kumar meharia.

          Hi,

          On 14th october 2019 i got a message that my card limit is exceeded and there was one transaction message for 689.96 gbp (Rs 64385.02) which is unauthorized/fraud transaction. I immediately called customer support to decline this transaction as it was not done by me. But they said that transaction is already approved and they will further investigate the issue. This is very serious issue and till now from bank i have not received any mail communication.

            I have raised complaint on Citibank website 5times. Called on customer care for 2 to 3 times, but not responding to the issue. Also no reply on mail from their office. They didn't called for any update or resolution of the issue.

            I received my credit card but so far I couldn't activate the card because it shows some error during the process. I talk with the customer care, they told my date of birth is mismatched. Actually I given to them my exact date of birth but they entered the wrong one. So plz make it correct fastly

              My father has taken vehicle loan from citi financial consumer india limited. He has repaid the loan in 2009 but the bank has not sent no objections certificate to my father. Now, i want to sell my vehicle and i am not able to sell it because in rc book there is a hypothecation of citi financial consumer india limited. I don't have any loan account number and your surat branch is asking loan account number to issue noc. So, i request you to kindly do the needful as early as possible.

              On 20th September I withdrew cash from SBI ATM using your credit card for the first time since I got my card. 15 years ago. On going through the details I found I m charged Rs.500 + 18% GST plus interest on this withdrawal.
              Can you justify the charges of about Rs.600 on withdrawal of Rs.2000 .
              Please revert back the charges.

                      On 09/08 one istanbul firm debited my card for three trtansactions of 9207/89, 9415/44 and 9245/63. This was not incurred by me at all for i never used citicard for any international transaction till now. I reported this to citicards, chennai. They replied me by their letter[protected]/crd/cou dated 24th august 2017. They replied stating they have raised a dispute and that they will revert to me in 45/60 working days. Though they have credited back my accoun t with the above 3 sums, tilldate i. E. Even after 2 years they have not reverted if they have really inmvestigated and the outcome.in other words they are keeoping me in dark reg the outcome of their investigation. How can i rely on citicards if they are lacking prooper and serious attention to such things like this. Was their reply an eye-wash and formality to satisfy me?
                      Their silence till now to revert to me only makes me suspect if someone in citicards has been involved in this fraud trnsactions. I have every right to think so in the absence of proper investigation and report to me
                      Please let me know now atleast, if not let me take up the matter weith ombudsman and also report to cybercrime so that atgleast to them you will answer

                        I made hotel ramada amritsar advance booking through happy easy go internet site by paying through citi bank credit card of rs 7328/-. I got the email from happy easy go payment receipt booking id[protected]. Date 7th sept 2019 at 4.26pm.

                        However, after reaching the hotel, there was no reservation for me nor they received payment from happy easy go. I tried to contact help line of happy easy go but no response from them.

                        I raised my complaint to citi bank to stop the payment since it is fraud transaction.

                        Please take this complaint seriously & help me to return my money.

                        Fraud transaction made by Happy Easy Go.

                        I made hotel Ramada Amritsar advance booking through Happy Easy Go internet site by paying through citi bank credit card of Rs 7328/-. I got the email from Happy Easy Go payment receipt booking id[protected] . date 7th Sept 2019 at 4.26PM.

                        However, after reaching the hotel, there was no reservation for me nor they received payment from Happy Easy Go.I tried to contact help line of Happy Easy Go but no response from them.

                        I raised my complaint to Citi Bank to stop the payment since it is fraud transaction.

                        Please take this complaint seriously & help me to return my money.
                        I suppose to receive a DD for RS 1408 and it was sent to my address but not delivered or no info, after that i am continously following up with the bank from 11th Sep'19 so far i haven't received any update and everyday i am calling citi bank but no response

                          My complaint is as under:
                          Bill for the month of july 2019 was rs. 27, 833.20 with due date 09/08/2019.
                          The same was paid by me through my sbi internet banking on 08/08/2019 vide the reference no. Qsbi[protected]igagtntrtransfer to[protected] to transfer inb citi credit card citi_cc payments 08-aug-2019
                          (08-aug-2019).
                          As per your statement the same was credited to you on 14/08/2019 with reference no. E pay qsbi[protected] in.
                          The interest charged by you was rs. 1, 126.79 at flate 4.04% of the amount due and with igst of rs. 373.82 stating that the interest was charged at 1.25% (15% annual) and isgt 18% at rs.373.82.
                          I strongly raise by objections for doing such unlawful act penalizing me, a senior citizen by age 63 depending on megre source of income.
                          I am the customer of your esteemed bank for more than 12 years.
                          The act of yours yours highly objectionable and will be dealt at banking ombudsman and other consumer fourms.
                          Kindly acknowledge the receipt of the complaint by return mail

                              I have been getting in touch with Citi care through emails for about a month now to get one NOC document for my existing credit card. I want to apply for a new one and as well for a personal loan. Until and unless I get the NOC letter I am unable to apply for any of it.

                              Can you please let me know what are the next steps for me. I have tried reaching out the number they have provided but no one responded on that either.

                              I am really worried now as I am getting married and have no money from my end.

                              I regret to inform that despite of several request not to debit my credit card for the insurance premium due on 31.8.19, it is debited on 29.8.19 for Rs.42810.00.
                              Eventhough it is auto debit, what is the meaning of conveying the above request over phone.

                                  Paisa baazar/bank baazar shows its closed but cibil shows active.

                                  I request you to clear the same and send me noc letter, as i was calling the collection department the call is not getting through to them and its been disconnected.

                                    Need information and refund

                                    My citi card limit is 75000; and i purchased tv in flipkart and converted in to no cost emi also i got loan on card amount around [281999.38]

                                    1. Tv emi - [12274.00] and monthly emi is [1450] and interest amount is [153] and 18% gst of 153 is [27.54].

                                    2. Loan on card - [281999.38] and monthly emi is [8284.00] and interest amount of current month is [4169.45] and 18% gst of 4169 is [750.42]

                                    I have never seen in any bank that they charging gst for interest amount when did not use my credit card limit. When i contacted customer care and they saying this is government policy and thats why we are charging like that.

                                    But could not understand why i have to pay gst for the amount which citi bank earning through my interest amount. Already i'm paying interest amount for the emi's with interest rate of 18% for card loan and 15% for flipkart purchase.

                                    So guys please aware of all these details and don't believe blindly what ever they say when they ask you to purchase credit card and loan. With some offers and benefits.

                                    And i asked customer care what is the closing process of these loans and they saying processing fee is 250rs and 3% of outstanding principle amount as well as interest for this 3%. So totally closing charge is 8500+250=8750 and 18% of gst is 1575 so totally 10325 rs.

                                    So even if you want to close the loan they wont let you to close with no charge. So you are totally trapped.

                                    Also would like to know that what ever amount citi bank earning through interest of laon emi, they should charge the gst from customer itself???

                                    My concern is why that Service Tax is charged from the Customer when that interest amount is earned by bank. So Bank have to pay service tax for their Earnings.

                                    I know that there is a service tax. but it should not charged from customer pocket for CITI Bank earning(through interest).

                                    So instead of sending split up like this send me the bank rule that government asked to collect the service tax from customer for the interest amount earned by bank.

                                      This is to bring your attention in one situation where i received on call from phone # [protected] and one lady said sir you are selected for gift voucher from citi bank where we will provide you shopping voucher, or sattel inr 4900 in ur bill, as i was aware about i so i shared by all details but all are wrong, due to which she face problem while cheating me, coz while doing the transaction it was showing wrong card details. I have phone number call recording and her name which must be fake. Anyways i want you you guys to do if you can do anything in this.
                                      Share the report to me @ [protected]@gmail.com and i will discontinue my card as well as all corporate cards of my friends who are working with me in one reputed mnc. If i will not get the fruit full result.
