Citibank — Closed my credit card without informing me through any verbal or nonverbal communication

I have a credit card from citibank from 2013 this year it has to be renewed but instead of renewing my credit card they closed credit card and didnt inform me about it i got to know about this when i tried to use it and its stopped working after that i contacted citibank they said if you have to send an email for reinstatement of card with id proof even i have paid all my bills on time and paid in full
