Citibank — Debit card expired and online account deactivated too | |||||
I have my salary savings account with Citibank, and the debit card for this expired in Jul'16. There was no re-issuance of new debit card automatically. I raised a complaint with them on 20th Aug'16 and, they said that they would immediately process the card which would be delivered within 4 working days. They even took a confirmation telling that would be required to deactivate the online account accessibility in order to process the new debit card, and the account would be reactivated within 24 hours. It is been more than a week that my online account is still not active and not received the card yet as of 29th Aug'16. I raised complaint on 29th Aug that I am not able to access my account on which they gave some excuse and said it will be till 1st Sep when account can get activated. It is very bad and unprofessional of them that I am not able to transact my money in my account due to some goop up from Citibank side, after a relation of more than 5 years with them. This what they give as a service where they put customer to such horrible experience where he is not able use his own hard earned money. Was this information helpful? | |||||
