For the last two billing cycles I am getting very high bill for the water consumption. There is no relevance between the amount due and the amount charged for the following reasons.
1. The first water bill was presented with the reading as units for the entire period since the meter is installed without taking into considerations the earlier bills paid.
Solution : The amount should have been spread for the average consumption for the entire duration and accordingly bill generated.
2. The second bill shows 43 units for two months which has a code "K" Meter reading is not compatible with the water used as Only one person resides in the house and consumes the water.
solution : the reading should be taken on set frequency and billed accordingly.
3. The water witch is supplied is full of contamination and unhygienic for use. It seems to have clogged the pipe line.
Solution : Water supplied must pass Quality assurance test prescribed by the competent authority.
4. Water is available for 10 to 15 mnts at good pressure, then the pressure drops and does not flow without using boosting device. However, 10% of the days water comes at good pressure for entire duration. This means we have to pay for water as well as for electricity.
Let me tell you that during the no water supply my 300 liters water tank is sufficient for at least 2 days.
