I'm one of the oldest customer of srirangam branch i just wanted to change my mobile no. From my official no. To personal no. As i'm due to retire. Mine was a e or s a/c in my name and my wife's name. I was given a form and i filled up with one signature and handed over to the branch. After 10 days i visited the branch to know the fate of the request for change. I was told to get the signature of both the account holder. That could have been told he first instance. Any how why two signatures even a cheque for lakhs of rupees is signed by only any one. This is not a complaint, but a food for thought.
2. My manual pass book and subsequent pass books contained my name and my mrs. Name correctly.in the recent continuation pass book given to me recently my name and my mrs. Name a bit different and hence there some problems with the mutual funds. As i approached the branch they wanted the pan copy of both o[censored]s and an application. Here also i have complied with the requirements. However as it was a mistake at some point of time in the bank why all these formalites. Again here also it is not a complaint and i have already submitted the requisite papers to the branch for necessary correction. For your kind perusal and action as deemed fit. N.
