[Resolved] City Union Bank — preclosure of my fixed deposit before maturity date | |||
My fixed deposit maturity date is 0n 21.08.2014. I have handed over the deposits receipt on 20.08.2014.to the above branch and instructed them to close the above deposit on maturity date 21.08.2014. I have also given a cheque dated 21.08.2014 for Rs.2, 00, 000/-for fresh deposits based on the above matured deposits. The bank has preclosed my above deposits on 20.08.2018 and levied penal interest and they have not given the full interest credit to my current account no.34557. The Staff has made the mistake by preclosing my deposit before the maturity date. I will not accept this I want full interest amount to be credited to my account. It is not my fault. It is purely your staff fault. I request you to take the matter serious and give the full interest to me. Was this information helpful? | |||
