Cleartrip — Hotel denied checking and cleartrip could not make the alternative booking left us on road

Hi this is Atul Sachdev. We have made the booking for a hotel THC Bagpackers, Jodhpur dated 28th Dec, 2022 to 30th Dec 2022. When we reached there hotel denied checking stating the hotel is completely booked and they did not received any bookings from Clear trip. We had booked 2 rooms and we were 4 adults, 3 kids and 1 infant with us. We called up clear trip at 5pm and they confirmed that they will make an alternative bookings within 30 minutes. Every time we called and they asked us to give 30 min more. Till 9pm they did not gave us any alternative hotel booking and we were standing on the road with infant in chilly weather. I pleaded them to give us an alternative hotel but they offered us a hotel which was 92 kms away from Jodhpur city centre. They offered us double compensation which i denied and asked them to use that compensation and give us a room for stay in Jodhpur. They were not able to book any rooms since most of the hotels were booked due to heavy season and they expected us to book with double compensation though they were very well aware that rooms are not available. In their hotel list some of the hotels were available but they did not booked since they were highly priced. Horrible attitude they left us on road and spoiled our vacations. Finally we got a under construction hotel to stay at 11pm which we searched and stayed there for a night. We are looking for complaining to this to consumer forum and also filing the FIR in police station for cheating. Never ever do bookings from clear trip you will face same issue. Hopeless people
