Cleartrip — Incorrect Refund Processed for PNR D9GR7S

I am writing to escalate an issue regarding the incorrect refund amount processed for my SpiceJet booking under PNR D9GR7S, dated 07th November 2015 (Delhi–Bagdogra–Delhi).

The DEL–IXB flight SG903 was cancelled by SpiceJet, and as per the airline’s confirmation, a refund amount of Rs. 31, 976/- was initiated to Cleartrip. However, the refund credited to me by Cleartrip amounts to only Rs. 24, 829/-, resulting in a difference of Rs. 7, 147/-.

I understand that Cleartrip reserves the right to deduct a convenience fee of Rs. 3, 150/-, which still leaves an unaccounted difference of Rs. 3, 997/-. Furthermore, the cashback discount applied on this booking was an involuntary system-based promotional discount, not redeemed or requested by me, and therefore should not affect the refund calculation.

Since Cleartrip acts purely as a facilitator between the airline and the customer, I request that you honor the full refund as released by SpiceJet and process the balance amount of Rs. 3, 997/-, bringing the total refunded amount to Rs. 28, 826/-.
