Cleartrip — indigo flight extra charges for check in baggage | |||
I have booked indigo flight tickets through clear trip. Ticket no. Pdl12t, Trip id :[protected], Manglore to ahmedabad Ticket with check in baggage of 17 kg and hand baggage 7 kg even though they refused for check in baggage and argued that your booking is without check in baggage and demanded ₹ 1200.00 and tortured me for 15-20 minutes and after lots of arguments they were ready to take check in baggage with ₹ 200.00 instead of ₹ 1200.00, Please check my booking and ticket sent to me by you. With reference to your concern raised, we would like to inform you that, under IndiGo booking reference/PNR PDL12T, the reservation was made under Lite Fare category. Further, if customer has booked the flight under the Lite fare category then check-in baggage is not allowed. In case the customer reports with check-in baggage at the airport, a fee of INR 200 per passenger per sector will be charged at the airport for 15 KGS baggage allowance. Hence, our staff at airport requested you to pay additional charges to avail check-in baggage allowance of 15kg. Thus, we request you to kindly get in touch with the concern Travel agency for further clarification.
