Dear Sir,

Please note that we have also submitted this complaint before and the issue was marked as Resolved but we inform you that the issue is not resolved.
Please do not mark it as resolved as they have not solved the same at all.

This is a very serious Issue we have come across for Cleartrip and this is not the first time. Cleartrip is having a B2B Platform for Travel Agents called as "Agentbox" and where agents book tickets and they get commission on Cut and Pay Model. In this case, Cleartrip deducts TDS from the amount but they never pay that tax amount to the Government on our behalf. In fact one the fellow Rohit Jalla who calls him a Manager, when we called him and asked him about the same, he mentioned "TDS Certificate nahi milega, if anything is sent will be done later" in a rude manner. We also spoke to Ms. Simple in the accounts department, but somehow even she is told not to send to us by Rohit Jalla.

The TDS due date is 31st May 2019 and they are supposed to send us the same TDS Certificate. Rohit Jalla is trying to explain us by providing misleading details about TDS not to be Paid to Government as he mentioned it is his company policy that TDS is their internal adjustment.

Sir, Cleartrip is making Tax Evasions we assume and not providing us with our TDS Certificates our amount collected from us for the Year ending March 2019. Also, they do not provide Official GST Invoice to us and they provide Receipt for the booking where our GST number is not mentioned.

When asked them, they say it is their company policy to not provide invoice but E-receipt of the booking. There is a major issue in the tax policies that they are following and we assume they are collecting the Taxes from us but not paying the same amount to the Government. Please check the same urgently.

We are asking them for our TDS Certificate since April 2019 and they are delaying it every month but replying us stating we will get the same by May end, When we asked them in May end, they informed we will get the same by June 15th, when we inform and remind them about the same, they again emailed us stating we will get in July,

What they have been as Tax Evasion is, they collect the Taxes in the form of TDS, and they do not pay the same to the government to exactly what they have collected from us. Later on, at the time of return filing, they file any random amount by the due date and give us the TDS Certificate after the due date, When we inform them the amount is not matching, they inform us now we cannot change as the due date is over. Which means, they are doing Tax frauds is what we believe.

Same with GST, they collect CGST and SGST from us do not provide us with proper GST invoices, they give us random E-receipt of the booking where not details of the Taxes are mentioned.

Sir, there is a big thing going on with Cleartrip and even the management is not answering.

Please look into this matter and I need my TDS Certificate for Year ending March 2019.

WE HAVE ALL THE PROOF TO SUBMIT. PLEASE LET US KNOW WHAT SHOULD BE DONE WITH THEM FOR NOT GIVING TAX CERTIFICATES TO US.

This lady Simple used to call us and manipulate conversations on the phone and tries to convince us to not get into complaints. But then she never helps.

We need the TDS Certificates to the earliest.

On related to this issue with Cleartrip, I want to highlight a very major thing once again in relation to this complaint. Please check the Image attached with this complaint where Mr. Satyen mentioned that he has paid us Commission of Rs. 2918 only whereas in the other Image I have attached the commission we received from them as Rs. 17, 193.06.

This is where I informed you all that they are doing Tax Frauds and not paying Exact Taxes to Government due to which they are manipulating Tax Certificates and not sending the same to us before the due date.
Another Proof if you can check in the image I have attached, next to the commission mentioned as Rs. 17, 193.06, The GST column is left blank. Like we advised earlier also, they do not issue us the GST Invoice to any bookings and hence this is why the do not mention the GST in the Sales Report section of their backend system.

Attached is the Proof of Mr. Satyen email where he mentioned that the commission paid is only Rs. 2, 918 for the period 1 Jan 2019 to 31 March 2019 whereas in the another attachment shows the proof of our Commission for the same period 1 Jan 2019 to 31 Much 2019 as Rs. 17, 193.06

He has only paid the TDS of Rs. 146 on Rs. 2, 918 which is underpaid as per the Income Tax Laws.
We need to take this issue to the Tax Department for making an immediate Audit to their company for violating Tax Policies and underpaying Taxes and not justifying it if that is correct.

We have emailed them as well to justify the same but there is NO Reply.
Ms. Simple from their company account department locked my account recently so that I cannot check the reports of the same.

Look into this matter. We are also in the process of reporting this to the Income Tax Department for Tax Evasions.

Please note that we have found the Tax Fraud with Cleartrip and he has accepted his mistake. Please check the attachment. We need to take actions against Cleartrip for Tax Evasion and Tax Frauds. As per my details in the complaint, I sent you the screenshot attachment to show they have mentioned my commission as Rs. 2918. We sent them the Proof and later on, VIRAF BHARDA the Regional Head of CLEARTRIP has emailed me and agreed on the tax amount as Rs. 17, 193.02. Please check the attachment.

He has stated in the email that he missed on checking the TDS commission in his system which his not possible as he filed the TDS for 22nd Feb but he did not file the TDS for 11th Feb. We all should understand how is that possible. also now he is asking me to transfer the same to my Bank Account as he FAILED to file the CORRECT TDS Returns. He is also calling me every 30 mins to Beg for not filing the returns.
Also, he has replied in his email that he will now send the TDS Certificate in August 2019. Look the Fact he is caught Red handed.

We need to teach him a lesson and also highlight Cleartrip for Tax Evasions. VIRAG BHARDA AND Rohit Jalla are calling me to beg for not showing proof to anyone. He has also mentioned in his email about his own mistake and system mistake which is to possible. Please check the attachments and we need to take strict actions against the same.

I am also getting in touch with the Tax department to Sue Them for not filing the Returns and Tax Evasions Issue.
He has to send me the Tax TDS Certificate for complete amount.
Please Report this to everyone as Cleartrip is not paying Taxes on time and also Evading Taxes until you ask them and then they try to explain their own policy and not even issue GST Invoice.

Updated by dparekh09 Dear Complaints Board, We have still not received any Reply from Viraf Bharda after he is caught for Tax Frauds and Tax Evasions. He has admitted that he has not paid my Taxes in the form of TDS to Government. Please look into the matter. He is not replying to us since last 10 days.
We are taking this matter on an escalation to the Tax Department as well and we will question him soon.
