Clix Capital — Urgent Complaint: Harassment Calls by Clix Capital Recovery Agent Regarding Overdue Loan EMI

I am writing to bring to your immediate attention a distressing and alarming situation I have been subjected to due to the incessant harassment calls from one of your recovery agents regarding the overdue loan EMI. I kindly request your intervention and assistance in resolving this matter urgently.

First and foremost, I must express my deep concern and dissatisfaction with the behavior exhibited by the recovery agent. They have not only misbehaved with me using offensive language but have also resorted to verbal abuse, which is completely unacceptable and highly distressing.

Furthermore, I am deeply troubled by the fact that the recovery agent has contacted the Sarpanch of my village and divulged my complete loan information to them. This unauthorized disclosure of personal and financial details has caused significant distress and compromised my privacy. Additionally, the recovery agent pressured the Sarpanch to visit my home and coerce me into making immediate payment, which is a blatant violation of my rights and an abuse of their position.

To my utmost shock, the recovery agent has gone to the extent of threatening to approach my employer and disclose my financial information to them, with the clear intention of jeopardizing my employment. This threat is not only unprofessional but also a direct infringement upon my right to privacy. I strongly condemn this behavior and demand that appropriate action be taken against the recovery agent responsible.

Adding to my distress, the recovery agent has now threatened to contact my hometown for the recovery process. This ongoing intimidation and pressure are causing severe mental anguish and emotional turmoil for me and my family. The recovery agent has explicitly stated that they will continue calling my hometown and the village Sarpanch unless I repay the loan immediately.

I would like to highlight that, unfortunately, I am currently facing financial constraints and do not have the means to make an immediate repayment. Despite communicating my financial situation to the recovery agent, they persist in subjecting me to relentless calls, issuing empty threats, and causing immense distress.

I have attached a snapshot of the message received, which clearly demonstrates the unprofessional and intimidating behavior exhibited by the recovery agent.

I implore both Clix Capital and the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to urgently investigate this matter and take immediate and appropriate action. This includes thorough scrutiny of the recovery agent's conduct, disciplinary measures as deemed necessary, and steps to ensure the protection of customers' rights and privacy.

I kindly request that the RBI be actively involved in this complaint, as their oversight and guidance are essential to ensuring fair practices and customer protection within the financial sector.

I trust that both Clix Capital and the RBI will treat this complaint with the utmost seriousness and urgency it deserves. I urge you to take swift action to rectify this situation, provide me with a resolution, and keep me informed about the steps taken to address this issue.
