[Resolved] Club Mahindra Holidays — Upgrade from 1 Red Bedroom to Purple Studio | |||||
November 2016, i was solicited by club mahindra staff at their jaisalmer property to upgrade my 1red bed room membership into a purple studio. I was informed that there would be no downside to this action and i would benefit from the ability to travel at the peak season. As a red 1 br holder i was able to book 2 studio apartments when we travelled enabling us to travel with friends who had one child just like us on vacation. Now i tried making a booking and find that i am not able to book 2 studios in red season anymore. This has resulted in a downgrade in my rights and ability to utilise the membership effectively. It makes sense that i'm not allowed to book 2 studio in purple but why should my earlier right of booking two studios in red get affected. And if this was so, it should have been shared with me at the time of telling me what changes would transpire if i made this upgrade. I have written to club mahindra members email id and have also called their office and am waiting for a revert so that this issue of mine can be addressed. There is no point in having the membership upgraded if i cannot travel with another couple and child. One never uses these things alone. Kids are all school going and we need to coordinate our holidays with their breaks which invariably is the red season. My request to the mahindra team is that my rights under 1red br should not get diminished if i'm paying more and its an upgrade. I am experiencing the same thing as i also got my membership upgraded only a week ago and i was not informed about this draw back. I had got it upgraded to purple because i had to do a booking in goa and now i can not book more than 1 room. This is a very major draw back. I want back my capabilities to do multiple room bookings.
