They will tell you all sort of lies and promises before getting the membership. I have requested a refund and my membership is less than 10 days. Still waiting.
False promises top to bottom.
First scam was that I was told I will be charged 5k/ Month and I am free to cancel anytime I want. Later I realized this guy Naveen charged 90k to my credit card and made it installment of 5k/ month.
I told him right then when I realized that I did not sign up for this and he refused to cancel that time saying I can cancel anytime after going home if I am not happy.
Secondly, before taking the membership I asked him multiple times if I need to pay anything else if I go to Maldives and he said.. not a single penny except Rs 6999/ every 5 days and they cover breakfast as well. He told me they don't have a mark up and if there is any transfer fees I have to pay what the hotel charges. He said I can book Sheraton Maldives without problem after I got membership by just paying Rs6999 for 5 days.
After going home I requested for the resort and lo and behold they gave me a quote of Rs 7 Lakhs for 2 rooms and 4 people and they are charging Rs.6 Lakhs for food.
I instantly called and messaged Naveen who said he will be my point of contact to book anything, but later refused saying he works in sales.
I told him he promised me I won't have to pay anything and he said you have to buy the food from us.. they have marked up the price 5 times of what hotel charges and I told this to Naveen and he was laughing.
It is actually cheaper to book with the hotel directly then to book with Club Resorto after paying fees.
Nothing Naveen promised was true. He even shared other members Personal details and rooms booked which is a breach of privacy. I would not want that to happen to me.
I have contacted Club Resorto for a refund. Even though they mentioned I can get a refund anytime, I still have contacted them within 10 days as per their refund policy on website and still waiting for refund as it is still not processed
I have also asked my bank credit card to dispute the charges.
I just hope Club Resorto takes responsibility and cancels my membership with full refund as it will save all o[censored]s headaches.
If not, I am ready to go to court and make a mass lawsuit with other members and sue them for misrepresentation and misleading claims and mental stress and trauma.
I just need my refund and be done with them.
