We have paid Rs.33000 for 5 year alternate membership in Club Jiva, along with Rs.6000 as annual maintenance fee. We wanted to go to Nainital in November this year (2016), and gave a two months advance notice to Club Jiva via mail to their reservation id.

After multiple email follow-ups and calls to Club Jiva's customer care, the only response we get is that Club Jiva is in discussion with the hotel management for reservation and I will get my confirmation "soon". Not once did any Club Jiva executive call me back or drop me a mail for any update.

After 2-3 weeks of random assurances by call centre agents, I called up the Nainital hotel management directly. Got to know that no one from Club Jiva have contacted them for any room booking in November! In fact, the hotel has rooms available and can give immediate confirmation.

Is this company completely fraud and does not want to give me a confirmation. Did they only want my membership fee while providing zero services? I think they expect me to forget the money because of all this hassle in getting a room.

How can such an organization exist in India? Are there not legal ways to ensure such scams don't happen? This company seems to continue swindling customers of their money, despite so many complaints seen on consumer forums. Need a way out of this. I'm willing to take this up legally, if not for my membership fees, at least as a social obligation to prevent other customers from falling in this trap.

    Cj/lcg/b/b283 - this membership was given to me at la calypso, goa at the time of my family's outing - at the initial payment of 40, 000 on the spot for blue membership - which according to the salesgirl can be availed throughout the year. After returning from goa when i went through the details then i found that blue membership are for "of season tourists" - and in season they are given later priority than red members. I was totally shocked by this - which was not told by the lady at the time of discussion. I dont want to go with this and i want the refund. I have all the documents which in case you want i can forward.

      After many reminders not getting my money refunded for policy membership which we had paid 60000/- in jan 2015 and not availed service for a single time. Our current situation will not allow us to use it in near time period also and the same was conveyed to you many times through mails and calls at your mumbai office but very poor response were received.

      We got shocked by receiving pathetic responses from customer care executives and the lady who is chairing gm post for club jiva ms meena shrama.

      Recently i have explored on net and understood many bad updates and reviews about cj and finally got the realistic picture about cj. My experience of communication with club jiva team also shows that it is not a professional organization and very openly they are cheating public.

      We don't understand why cj is compelling members to go along with them even if they are not interested and wish to cancel their membership and making the situation complex. They can refund and resolve the matters in simple way so that they can focus on improvement of there services rather then attending calls and mails regarding complaints

      Hi,

      Same happen to me at Mahabaleshwar ... on 25th November.. let come together and close this Club Jiva. Even no proper support or

      answer from Jiva.

      Log a FIR with Police station about same.. I am alos doing same. I also logged a complaint on

        Last year while im on vacation with my family at Daman Club Jiva representative misguiding us regarding some lucky draw after that they sale their holiday membership to us while taking membership they said anytime you can cancel your membership. We try to continue our membership for that we going to pay installment but we not received any membership card so we stop paying and coordinate with them but their is no response from there side finally decide to close membership now we contact them they said their is no policy we have to cancel your membership and their is no refund, the amount we pay to begin our membership is Rs14000/- now they said no refund however we going to move to consumer compliant forum to teach them good lesson. In above regards any suggestion we welcome and thank you in advance.

        Ms. Nagma and her team gave false commitment to us and while taking membership they insist us to pay as much as we can by credit card, first of all its look like scam but they try to convince us by the name of Ce da De Daman Hotel and showing other family who already member of club jiva. We spend 4 hours to discussed their plan but they keep pushing us to take their plan now i going file compliant against Ce da De Daman also regarding their guest policies how they allow this kind of people in hotel to mentally harness people who are coming to enjoy their on vacation.

        As aspected received a dramatic call from club jiva legal department and they offer us vacation plan upon our dates which never accepted by them just fooling customers to provide your dates so we give you nice vacation trip upon your dates which resolve your refund claim. We provide flexible dates but they said all home hotels around whole india are booked and they not able to process our request. My next steps i going to file a my compliant to indian government grievance sites and provide details of this scam not only im alone in this pool but i observed many many cases. I just collecting all information from different people making one dossier which content list of people who get trouble with this scam as well as going to make one platform which create online submission for victim who meet together and decide to take legal action against this kin of company just for your situational awareness.

          We were sold their 10 year club jiva membership by santanu in gangtok on 18 sept for rs 1, 32, 000. Our purchase agreement number is cj/gtp/a1074. We paid a down amount of rs 33, 000 and the rest to be paid in 12 equal installments of rs 8, 250.
          Later we read all the online reviews and decided not to proceed with further payment. We have e-mailed them repeatedly asking for clarifications and get no response; spoke to their representatives jaideep and nisha, but got no response apart from an assurance that their support team will get back to us which never happens.

          Their modus operandi is -
          1. They will catch you while you are on a vacation so they know you are temporarily there and can't do anything later, on the pretext of a free scratch card which they will scratch if you attend their presentation which can stretch for 3 hours or more. The whole scratch part is a gimmick and it always has a pathetic holiday by club jiva.
          2. Lure you with sweet talk and try to get all chatty and personal. Whenever you have any doubt they will try to talk over you so you never get a chance to speak. If you ask for time to decide they will say things like this anniversary offer will expire as soon as you step out the hotel door. They will eliminate all options why you shouldn't buy their membership even offering emis.

          Once you buy their package and you do some research you realize it's all a fraud. Here's how -

          Claim - they offer only 4/5 star hotels.
          Reality - many of their hotels are 3 stars or less with tarrifs so low you can get a better deal by booking online every year rather than through their membership.

          Claim - once you pay their membership fee, the stay is entirely free.
          Reality - they don't tell you about hidden/utility charges which can range from rs 500-1, 500 per night. When we asked about this later they agreed it may be the case with some hotels. But we were not informed about this upfront.

          Claim - they have tie-ups with thousands of hotels under ira scheme in india.
          Reality - we called a few hotels to find out about this and they claimed they had never heard of club jiva. Regardless of how they have tied-up, seemed strange to us that the hotels don't know anything about club jiva.

          Claim - the bad reviews are paid reviews by competitors.
          Reality - santanu, their marketing person from gangtok actually told us this! I really didn't have the energy to tell him we had already spoken to some of those 'paid' reviewers and they were actual users, harassed just like us.

          Don't fall for their claims, it's a fraud!! Beware

            Club jiva not refunding my 40, 000 inr though promised

            Even after multiple notification club jiva firstly given a lot of excused tried to lure us by showing off of many attractive packages, now when they know that we are least interested in their fraud packages then they deny to return my money.
            I will not leave my money at any cost. Even if i have to complain to higher authorities of police department i will do it. I will fight with them.
            There are 100s of victimized people whom...

            Like many other people before us, we got conned into paying a large sum for a 5-year membership at Club Jiva. Now that we are members, trying to avail of any service from Club Jiva has proven to be an absolute nightmare.

            Their model is very simple. They'll take your money and make you think that you can book rooms at nice resorts through them. When you actually try to make a booking they will make you go through many days...

            I'm samir member of club jiva... Amazing concept my dream became true through club jiva. I have done my holiday at panchgani thank you a lot for giving such a wonderful holiday. We spend 4 days in hotel millenium park, it was awsome and place is very beautiful we loved it.. My family is very happy with ur holiday plan. Im very greatful to this club...

              My husband and I been to Goa and was given a free voucher to scratch by a representative we had won a holiday package, the rep informed that we had to attend a presentation for an hour if we are not interested after the presentation we can collect the gift voucher and he would also get 1k . We went there because the representative said that he will earn 1k if I just attend the presentation.We went there they took our details and my visa card. The rep was friendly and was more interested in my personal lufe rather than selling his package. Later after an hour they spoke about their company and what exactly they do, I too was discussing on the package as I was a member of Club Mahendra, later his manager came and with a very cheap attitude he spoke, after which he started commenting loudly to his colleagues in a very cheap manner, after sometime he came and spoke very rudely and arrogantly. He was beaving sick and was very irritating, he was behaving as though he is doing a favor in providing a membership...

                I'm Ragini Desai from Mumbai.I'm member with club jiva since December 2013 I got their membership in Goa one of their marketing guy caught us in Baga beach.He convinced us to attend their one hour presentation by giving the lure of free gift.We went to attend their presentation.we really liked the concept.they were giving the choice of whole world but we have chosen Bali for doing our first holiday..They were offering us holiday for 25 years but we haven chosen for 10 years and we are very happy with this membership thank you very much club jiva..

                  I enlisted for a membership with Club Jiva in December last year. I had received a complimentary stay thru a voucher for 5N/6D (which as per T&C can be availed in their home resorts : 6 in Nos). I had a discussion regarding how to proceed with booking against the voucher with their booking department and they told me to inform them or apply for bookings 3 weeks in advance. It has been a month now that I have applied for bookings on one of their home resort and I have still not received my confirmation of the bookings. I have told them that I am traveling in a group and already have booked my travel flights for the destination and I cannot change my dates. I still have more than a month for my travel dates, which means I informed them more than 2 months ago. Several times, I have called them and some executive named, Dipali is looking after the case.

                  Everytime, I call she assures a callback with update but they never contact me for any details. It has always been me who is worried about my confirmation. They keep saying that it is in progress.

                  My date of request was 13/08/2016 and I an unable to understand that for what reason a customer care can't reach out to the customer (a member in this case) for an update. A lot depends on this venue bookings as the bookings for the entire group has already been made on the same venue.
                  Also, If I am forced to do bookings else where, due to this unprofessional behaviour of Club Jiva, I want them to pay for that, as I have alreday paid them hefty amount for the memberships.

                      My name is sanjeev rai, we was there in nainital to visited in 15 aug 2016. A man name (Mr. Akil) came to us & introduced themselves as club jiva representatives. He offer us a scratch card and ensure us to get one of the four prizes if we will attend a presentation from club jiva on completing its 10 years & then me and my family attend small seminar of 1 hour. We meet arshi, farhan, rohana and vishal. They gave complete introduction about club jiva and give us an offer but when we refuse to take membership, they gave another offers, thus they give us three offers of different structure higher to lower rate, they try us to convince then at lower level emi structure we finally convinced, but i have some doubt but they insist us so keenly, all

                      Club jiva member behaves like what they are saying is correct and we have full faith in them and their organization club jiva. At last when i told him that we have insufficient balance (For get rid of them) then mr farhan told me that lets divide this member ship structure in such a way that you have to pay only 20, 460 now from credit card and rest amount will be in emi and that will start after 6 months of starting membership, and they try to swipe credit card 7 times like a greedy team and finally transaction happened for amount rs 20000 and finally rs 460 i deposited as cash. So totally we give rs 20460 we think we will get good services when we'll go for tour. But when we came back and search google we find they are fake, lot of things they tell us is false,

                      Reason why i want my money back and refuse to take membership:-

                      1) club jiva member said for meal, cab and other services will be given by mentioned hotel, but listed hotel denied
                      2) 18 days have passed but no membership card i received even not a single welcome message yet from club jiva side.
                      3) hotel said they are fraud, i here from mainali hotel that is in his list
                      4) they provide member ship type blue, which is off season membership, this was not disclosed at time of meeting.
                      5) they said refund your money any time but when i mailed him, i got reply of no refund from club jiva side
                      6) only one hotel said that we can use club, and all hotel denied which are in list, but members in meeting promised us to provide us all services of hotel
                      7) i received one booklet in that point number 12 is changed, its mention that any time you refund money but after taking membership point is changed and said nonrefundable in booklet
                      8) company is not more than 5 years but members said it is more than 10 years in market.
                      9) member said they owning 35 hotels and lacalypso hotel one of them, that is false
                      10) hotel said extra utility charges are paid, but this was not mentioned at the time of joining
                      11) lots of facility they promises for us, that will also need to share that all are false information

                      There is no reason to join club jiva and give emi and avail bad services so please refund my money.
                      Club jiva employees just give good response while taking membership. After that they started to ignore us. They are fraud and not responding. I want my money back.

They gave complete introduction about CLUB JIVA and give us an offer but When we refuse to take membership, they gave another offers, thus they give us three offers of different structure higher to lower Rate, they try us to convince then at lower level EMI structure we finally convinced, but i have some doubt but they insist us so keenly, all

                      CLUB JIVA Member behaves like what they are saying is correct and we have full faith in them and their organization CLUB JIVA. At last when i told him that we have insufficient balance (for get rid of them) then Mr Farhan told me that lets divide this member ship structure in such a way that you have to pay only 20, 460 now from Credit Card and rest amount will be in EMI and that will start after 6 months of starting membership, and they try to swipe credit card 7 times like a greedy team and finally transaction happened for amount Rs 20000 and finally Rs 460 i deposited as cash. So totally we give Rs 20460 we think we will get good services when we'll go for tour. But when we came back and search Google we find they are FAKE, lot of things they tell us is false,

                      Reason why i want my money back and refuse to take membership:-

                      1) CLUB JIVA member said for meal, cab and other services will be given by mentioned hotel, but listed hotel denied
                      2) 18 days have passed but NO membership card i received even not a single welcome message yet from CLUB JIVA side.
                      3) Hotel said they are fraud, i here from Mainali hotel that is in his list
                      4) They provide member ship type BLUE, which is off season membership, this was not disclosed at time of meeting.
                      5) They said refund your money any time but when i mailed him, i got reply of no refund from CLUB JIVA side
                      6) Only one hotel said that we can use club, and all hotel denied which are in list, but members in meeting promised us to provide us all services of hotel
                      7) i received one booklet in that point number 12 is changed, its mention that any time you refund money but after taking membership point is changed and said nonrefundable in booklet
                      8) Company is not more than 5 years but members said it is more than 10 years in market.
                      9) Member said they owning 35 hotels and LACALYPSO hotel one of them, that is false
                      10) Hotel said extra utility charges are paid, but this was not mentioned at the time of joining
                      11) Lots of facility they promises for us, that will also need to share that all are false information

                      There is no reason to join CLUB JIVA and give EMI and avail bad services so please refund my money.
                      CLUB JIVA employees just give good response while taking membership. After that they started to ignore us. They are fraud and not responding. I want my money back.

                        Very sorry to say no call came from joydeep you can check it out my mobile no call from Mumbai only one call came i .e. on 17th after that he said I am going to connect them again but no call from his side till now and even my wife talked to Neerav yesterday morning and he also told us that he is going to call by 11am yesterday but no call from his side also. Such a responsible person are they that they can't give a single call or they are busy in making a fool of others if they can't stuck on their commitment now then how can I trust them or your co for next 5yrs. Please refund the money at the earliest as being told by Mr Ajay.

                        I have taken a Club Jiva membership in mussorie from Mr Ajay and Mr Neerav and they explained every thing wrong and forced me take membership today and I took the same and after that I tried so many times to talk to them but they didn't turned up then I talked to your Mumbai team Mr.Joydeep Shetty on 17th Aug 2016 and he told me and I am going to arrange a concall with Ajay and Neerav and he arranged it but they talked very rudely and I disconnected the call then I again called to Mr Joydeep and told him that have you seen how they misbehaved and again he said that don't worry I am going to arrange concall with them to solve the matter but till now I have not recd. any call from them and I am trying their no but their nos are switched off and also told me that if you don't like it your money is going to be refunded, so you are requested to refund the money at the earliest.

                        Why you are unable to conform my booking even after 20-25 days . How someone can plan their holiday if booking conformation require so much time .
                        Travelers have to do other tickets also flight etc .

                            I visited goa in aug 2015. A man came to us & introduced themselves as club jiva representatives. He gave us scratch cards. One of them we got prize. So he told us to come to party of club jiva completing its 5 years & then attend small seminar of 1 hour. We meet ms. Sana. They gave complete introduction about club jiva. First they offer 3, 00, 000/- rs. Membership for 25 years. When we refuse to take membership they gave another offers. At last we accept one of them. 1, 00, 000/- rs for 5 years as trial package. At that time we paid 40000/- rs as token amount. We paid it also, because we think we will get good service while we go for tour. But now while i am trying to book a room for matheran, they are not giving good response. I am trying to book room since long. But i don't get any reply from them. Also they are differing from their promises, when they done at the time of booking. Now i want my amount back. Club jiva employees just give good response while taking membership. After that they ignoring us. They are fraud and not responding. I want my money back

                              I had purchased a holiday package membership, No.: CJ/KP/R/00268 on 21/04/2015 after paying Rs.225000. As per the membership terms I am entitled for 7N/8D accommodation in a year with family for the next 40 years. Also I was offered Charter Membership Package with complimentary 3N/4D in any Club Jiva properties and one welcome week in any of the DAE properties worldwide at a discounted fee of Rs. 750/night. Apart from this they offered 4N/5D free accommodation. At the time of the presentation they had promised me of prompt & stress free service and assured me of providing 4 star accommodation all around the year. From the very beginning they never remained true to their words. The first time when I made a booking request for their hotel in Saputara (Gujrat) I had to send several reminders before they confirmed my booking. The hotel room that was allotted to us in Saputara also was below the standard. At the time of check in after seeing the room I demanded another room, I was told that Club Jiva Members are offered this room only. The toilet door could not be closed properly and on 2 occasions we had to call the front desk as we are locked out of the room as the front door lock would not open with the key. Since it was the first time I pacified myself thinking that since this is a complimentary offer this is the case but when I start using my regular membership days the rooms allotted will be of better quality
                              Last year in Nov I had to cancel my vacation as they could not provide me with an accommodation in Goa under the pretext of peak season which was contradictory to what they had assured during the presentation. They had assured that unlike Club Mahindra there is no season in Club Jiva and accommodation is made available all around the year. The customer will have to make a booking request in any of Club Jiva resorts or DAE properties a minimum of 15 days in advance. I have always made my booking request at least a month in advance, but it was not honoured. This year in April when I sent a booking request for utilizing my regular membership days in a hotel in Auli (Uttarakhand), which was presented to me as a flagship hotel, the same thing was repeated. I had to send several reminders to get confirmation of the booking. Also the hotel room provided was below the standards promised by Club Jiva during their presentation. I have attached pictures in the supporting documents. When I raised my disappointment and demanded a better room with the hotel staff I was told that this is the only room reserved for club Jiva customers. I felt cheated and trapped and our holiday mood was spoiled because of this treatment. On our return I filled up the feedback form and expressed my disappointment but there was no response from Club Jiva.
                              On the third occasion, this July I made a booking request for utilizing the Complimentary one welcome week in Lake Palace Resort in Alleppey mentioned in the list of DAE properties in the brochure, All I got from them for 18 days is that they have sent my request to the resort but the resort is not responding. After that one day Mr. Hitesh called up my wife and offered her a substandard hotel name Pagoda, when she told him that this was not according to our agreement and he should send a mail regarding the same. There was no response. Today they offered us another hotel called Royal garden Hotel and resort by falsely claiming that it is a DAE resort. I did a google search about the hotel and checked the list of DAE properties but this hotel was not mentioned in that list. Also it is mainly a hotel not a resort and is around 35 Kms from Alleppey on the way to Trivandrum. It is recommended for business travel and not for holiday makers. I have had to cancel my holiday second time around.
                              I have decided that I have had enough of Club Jiva as they are practicing unfair business tactics and not providing service as promised. I have always expressed my disappointment to them and have asked several times for terminating the agreement due to poor and unsatisfactory service and return of my money. They have not responded. So I decided to register a complaint with consumer forum.
                              Kindly assist me in getting my hard earned money back.

                                    I was member in club Jiva ajis on 12 th june at vadodara -gujarat at that time your manager and Ritu shah madam has committed us that if you will going to book your membership today then you will received additional 7 night for first year and you will received documents after 15 days, but i am sorry to say that i have received documents after 40 days and i do not found any commitments in such file i have received one card as well as one certificates then i have try to call vadodara admin after 5-6 call i have talk with him for such meter but that time again they have committed that we will send you within 2 days all details on your mail id, then also we have not received any mail then from their Mumbai office has call me for another 50 % payments that time i have again talk for that mater then they have send me mail as on 12 th august named charted Member package in such format i found that they have charges for another 7 days free night what is this? now i am not interesed in your club mambership and i want my 50 % money back...reply as soon as possiable
