But recently the Meghalaya Govt also proposed for the dissolution of the university and the degrees will be no longer valid. I have been trying to the university phone numbers mentioned in their websites. Dear Sir, I Parashuram Hulamani doing Phd in CMJ University to pursue Phd in Library and Information Science. Dear Sir, I approached CMJ University directly in the month of May 2012 to pursue Phd in Mechanical Engineering by email. The advisor to University sent reply asking me to submit the provisional application, CV and the educational certificates copies by email. After scrutinizing the documents, Dr.Ray from CMJ University called me over phone and conducted telephonic interview. In the month of may 2012, I got an email from the University asking me to submit the original application, self-attested copies of Education certificates and the first year fee to their special collection center located at Kolkata. I have prepared a DD for INR 1, 57, 000/- and sent along with all the self-attested copies of educational certificates to the following address by Courier. CMJ University Level 6 Constantia 11, Dr.U.N.Bramachari Road, Kolkata 700017 India I have got the acknowledgement of receiving the courier by the University. I got the enrollment number [protected] for my Phd Registration and I checked the same with CMJ University Website. I have been trying all the contact numbers given in their website including Dr.Ray to check about the further procedure but no response from them. To my surprise, I got to know from the news papers and from UGC website that the University has indulged in irregularities. Now I would like to withdraw my registration and seek the refund of fees paid INR 1, 57, 000/-. Please advise . I got the Ph, D Course work Completion certificate & Synopsis Approval Certificate via letter dated[protected], bearing reference number CMJU/CW/PHD/2011. My topic"Decrypting the Hit formula of Bollywood Films-The Audience Perspective" was also approved and I was instructed to start working under supervision of Authorized Guide DR R K Vishnoi, kanpur. I completed my entire work that is 100% original based on primary data collected by me for this research reporting about the work done and after getting guides approvals from time to time. I had done hard work and I can challenge that no such work on Indian Films was ever done. Later I submitted my thesis reports 5 copies in prescribed formats and forms as was guided on CMJ web site, I have a letter dated[protected], certifying that I had submitted completed Thesis Reference CMJU/TH/SUB/SHG/12 . I was issued letter dated[protected] informing my successful completion of Viva-Voce at University campus Shilong Reference CMJU/Ph.D/VV/SHG/12. Finally I was awarded the Provisional Certificate of Ph.D 2012, dating 21 Sept 2012. Now what is my status? Am I Ph.D?
