Respected sir/madam
On 6th september 2017 i purchased a pet bottle of limca (750 ml) from a store in borivali name surya supermarket near gokhale college, borivali west, mumbai. I kept the bottle in my scooters luggage compartment wrapped in a wind cheater jacket to ensure its safety. As soon as i left the store and headed towards my home which is merely 40 meters away. When i checked on the bottle after reaching home i. E within a minute, it was punctured and all the contents of the bottle were spilled in the compartment and damaged all my important documents and valuables which were in there. Note:there are no potholes or speedbreakers on the 30 meters of road that i drove which could have caused a massive impact on that bottle.
When i took it back to the shopkepper he refused to exchange even tough i said that he was not responsible and he should complaint further to his dealer whose name is p. R agency in gorai 2 area of borivali west luckily the dealer was present there and i talked to him very politely and said that its a manufacturing defect and not his fault but he pounced on me like a wild cat and accused me of intentionally puncturing the bottle and talked to me with raised voice and the highest possible level of rudeness. I have attached the dealers details.
As i myself am an engineer and i am aware of the production process involved in making pet bottles, i do understand that there is a very slim possiblity that it can be a manufacturing defect. Considering that i want the company to take a serious action against this. I am not getting my money's worth and if its not resolved i do not hesitate to go to consumer court. If the quality of product is compromised its not worth spending our hard earned money on that product.
Thanking you.
An unhappy customer.
