Cognizant — BGV rejected

Address:Hinjewadi, Pune.

I got the offer letter on 23rd Sept 2021 and there was a mismatch in my Aadhar and PF portal as I had changed my name on Aadhar after marriage i.e post July 13th 2021.

I submitted all the documents for name change to my last employer Accenture Vikhroli however there was a delay from their end stating that they won't be submitting my documents on an individual basis as mostly Companies do it in bulk.

I still forced them to submit my documents and on 20th Oct 2021 it was given to Bandra PF office. Post that after verification by PF team I was told by my last employer that since I had withdrawn all my PF from Accenture PF share the PF account that was created by Accenture was closed and that they couldn't take any Action on this.

I am thankful that Cognizant waited for my more than 2 months. I then told the BGV team that my case is different and that Cognizant will have to follow the same process that I did with Accenture and get my name changed on PF portal. Since Accenture was no more an active employer only my current employer can make the changes.

But I was again and again told that no your last employer has to do it. Despite of my visting Bandra PF office and getting the same reason or solution that only current employer has to do it. Cognizant BGV team along with Cognizant recruitment denied.

I was being send offer letters by Cognizant with different DOJ and the last offer was sent with DOJ 3rd December 2021.

But suddenly I was told that I am dropped from the current job profile and that I am open to join Cognizant if get further opportunities.

I am very disappointed because I am jobless since 4 months and also I do have financial proplem.

I was very fit for the role that I had applied in Cognizant and I feel sad that I was dropped.

And now I am not getting better opportunities anywhere. So whom should I blame now.
