[Resolved]  ABN AMRO Credit Cards — Poor Customer Service

Respected Sir/Ma'am,

Im Sri Raghav and I'm working with HTC Global Services, Chennai. I have my Salary Account[protected] with ABN AMRO.

On the 24th of October 2008 I had called the Customer Care for applying for a new Credit Card (Request No:[protected]. The Customer Care executive said the Sales Team will get in touch with me within 3 days. But th Sales Team never called. So I called up Customer Care again on the 30th of October to find the status. The Custoemr Care executive said he will take up another request (Req No:[protected] and ensure that they will get in touch with me within two days. Nobody called me. So I called up again on Saturday (November 1st) and launched a complain (Complaint No: [protected]). The Customer Care executive said they will contact me ASAP. But still no one has called.

I have to bring to your notice that the Customer Service of ABN AMRO is pathetic and the organization is an embarassment to the banking industry on the whole. Even while opening the S/B Salary Account, I had so many problems that it took me almost a month to activate the account. I am posting this complaint on www.complaintsboard.com so that other customers will not take the pains o[censored]sing the services of ABN AMRO and be disappointed.

This is to inform you that, i have seen some overdue changes in my statement but no body inform me from your side regarding that over limit changes. and i have already told that into your CC department here is the complaint no.[protected], [protected], [protected].

ABN AMRO Credit Card — WRONG INFORMATION PROVIDED BY SALES PEOPLE

DER FREINDS,

FEW DAYS BACK I RECEIVED A CALL FROM ABN AMRO DELHI OFFICE, THAT BEING A SPECIAL CUSTOMER OF ABN AMRO THEY ARE OFFERING ME PLATINUM CARD WITH OPTION OF FREE HOLIDAYS & FREE GIFTS WITH COST OF APPX rS 6000/-. I ASKED HIM SIMPLY IT IS FREE OR COMPULSARY, THE SALES LADY TOLD ME, IT IS OPTIONAL I[censored] DONOT WANT GIFT, ABN AMRO WILL NOT CHARGE RS 6000/-. THEN I SAID OK.
THEN SHE SPECIFICALLY TOLD, NO TO ASK SAME QUESTION ABOUT OPTION OF GIFT TO VERIFICATION TEAM AS THEY ARE NEW & DONOT HAVE ANY IDEA ABOUT SCHEME.

AFTER 15 MINUTES, I RECEIVED CALLED FROM VERIFICATION DEPTT, REGARDING VERIFICATION I ASKED HER THAT GIFT OF RS 6000 ARE OPTIONAL WHICH I NEED NOT TO PAY. SHE DENIED & TOLD PLATINUM CARD CHARGES WILL RS 6000/-, & SAME WILL BE DEBITED FROM MY ABN AMRO CARD.

WHAT A NON SENSE, SALES PEOPLE ARE REALLY MAKING CUSTOMER FOOL.

My MICRON STEEL & TUBES a/c NO. is 1465375 (branch) BRADY HOUSE, 14, VEER NARIMAN ROAD, FORT, MUMBAI-400023.
I had open an a/c in your bank through your agent MR.AJI JOSEPH.(ASSOCIATE MANAGER BUSSINESS BANKING).His contact no. is [protected].[protected].This person has make us fool by saying that will provide you all services but yet we didnt got any services.Bank has charges me 4000/= for not maintating my a/c.
REASON FOR NOT MAINTAINING A/C:
1)NOT PROVIDES ANY SERVICES LIKE - NET BANKING, CHEQUE COLLECTION FACILITIES, NO RESPONSE TO CUSTOMER.
THIS person is not attainding my call.
please take a quick action on this person.
I will not pay any charges to bank.
BECAUSE OF THIS PERSON I WAS MISGUIDE.
This will be request to bank to take a serious action on this person.
