This is Sunil Srivastava. I took a credit card from ABN AMRO in 2005, which I never used. After a few years, the bank raised a complaint about unpaid dues, and now our credit score is dropping. Please let me know the solutions to clear this issue.

I would like to draw your kind notice that once i was a credit card holder of abn amro bank. Recently some irregularities have come to my notice while applying for a Auto loan. In course of verifying my cibil report they have noticed that my name is showing there as a default and i feel that abn amro bank has intentionally made the mess way back around 2007-10.

I have taken car MH12 CD 5541 in year 2004 through ABN Amro loan. I was transferred and forgot to get NOC after loan was fully paid. My RC book still shows Hypothecated to ABN amro and now i am not getting NOC as bank is closed. I do not even have loan number. I have started getting calls from mumbai abn amro credit card division stating that i have used their credit card and i need to pay out standing bill. They say the card was issued 10 years back.
I have not received or used any abn amro card in my life, but still i am getting calls from their executive to clear the due.

I have taken ABN AMRO Bank credit card 5 years back which is free for first 1 year to try.
After 1 year, I called up customer care to close the card after clearing the dues. And they said they did!
But still I used get statements every month showing annual fee due payment.
And I used to call every 15 days to make sure that my card is closed.
First time, I was told that I need not worry and everything is fine.br...

As I m a customer of ABN AMRO Credit Card and used my Credit Card in nov 2009 and dropped the cheque for same on 20th December and on 8th Jan 2010 gone throw my bank statement I found that my cheque was present I ranged up to your customer care. Customer care executive replied that by mistake it was not present and I requested to present my cheque then my cheque was cleared from the account. On next of Jan 2010 I found that Bank charged me the cheque bounce charges and since then you changed me on charges on charged amount and closed my card services on amount of 3276 you made my permanent closed. I am surprised to see a outstanding of Rs 3165 outstanding to my CIBIL, the name shows as Phoenix ARC, I was not sure what this company is about, later I got to know that ABN is closed / Merged with RBS/Kotak Mahindra..etc..

It took some time to figure out, surprisingly when I walked into Kotak branches they to are not aware of Phoenix ARC. They kept on asking me to dial the call center, which I did but did not get any solution.

I am shocked to know that a 2004 outstanding is tagged to CIBIL for a partly amount of Rs 3165.

Post 2004 till date, I have taken 2 car loans and multiple other loans from various banks, never I was told about this outstanding. I have a clean payment record and using multiple credit cards from 1998.

My house address remains the same from last 40 years and I have never received any communication about this outstanding.

I want to pay the amount of Rs 3165 and get rid of this harassment.

Please help me in this regard. My CIBIL has gone down for no fault
