Building Panwadi, Bhavnagar 364 001 Dear Sir, I am a retired government employee. My telephone number is 2564621 and for the past many days the phone is dead. I am unable the see any light at the end of the tunnel and God knows who will tell me when my phone connection will be revived. When I am ringing the Sardarnagar Telephone Exchange they say the digging at Beta Nala near Shivaji circle has affected my line. In our Geetanagar where I reside when I enquired with other phone users, I am told their landlines are perfectly working. Then why my line alone is dead is indeed a mystery. Earlier some months back Shivaji Circle had digging operation to lay some big pipelines and my phone was dead for several days. It was an agony indeed for us. We have internet connection and without an active phone line we feel crippled. One takes internet connection with a strong purpose and if this breakdown is going to so frequent, I am really worried who will save this country from this sorry plight. I am wondering what is the use of a landline? Frankly speaking, laying o[censored]nderground cable line has perhaps worsened the situation if my experience is any indication. First of all, can you actively intervene and see whether the fault is somewhere else. And make sure the telephone cable lines are left uninterrupted by the digging authorities. See digging takes place every 2-3 months in some localities and my phone connection need not be the price I have to pay for it. Also for the days I lost the telephone connection for which the record will be there at Sardarnagar Telephone Exchange, my bill for phone and internet should be accordingly deducted for the days I could not use. It is distressing indeed when one is faced with such calamitous situation. I got your above address from the internet and decided to express my deep distress to you. Kindly do something quickly and restore my phone connection and ensure this breakdown does not occur so frequently and for such long duration as I am experiencing presently. We are using for more than three years Broadband 600 Combo plan.
Expected speed promised in this combo pack is around 2 mbps. But used to get around 0.90 – 1.00 mbps. But now speed has declined to just 25-30 kbps. And most of the time the internet connection is not working. Gets disconnected every 5 to 10 min. Then gives a speed of 25-30 kbps only.. Before 10 days or so, it was getting speed of 200-220 kbps. So this truancy is causing lot of problems and we are unable to make use of the internet facility. Sir, please intervene in this and solve our problem by ensuring an efficient internet service. I hope BSNL will solve my problem quickly and set the internet connectivity into vibrant mode.
