I did my Xth from CBSE with 91.2% and XIIth from AP Intermediate Board with 92.8% over all and 93.55 % in science subjects. Because of the cut off fixed at 93.6% in Xth for CBSE students, my application for IISER is not accepted. This clearly indicates that IISER or the MHRD do not beleive in improvement after Xth and still claiming to be innovative for reducing the marks tension from students. Is it not contradictory ? when IISERs are going to conduct the written test, how fair is this to debar a student from appearing for the test on the ground of just scoring a little less in class Xth, which is not the actual qualifying exam for admission in Integrated MSc courses in IISER. IIT and NISER-NEST can permit us but not the IISERs.If I qualify for NEST-2010 for which the result is still awaited, do the MHRD or IISER think that the admission in NISER should not be offered to me? After waiting eagerly for two years I have been denied even for submitting the application for admission test. If the so called marks are the sole criteria, why the test is being conducted ? Here I would like to add that my percentage in Xth CBSE got down because I could score only 78 marks in English, other wise my Science and Maths Percentage are much higher than required. I had been thinking that as these institutions are ment for science education, they woud not mind a low score in language or Social Science. I once again appeal to the learned and appearing to be student friendly HRD Minister Sri Kapil Sibbal Sir to please ponder on this situation and intervene to amend these unjust conditions to give us a fairer opportunity to prove ourselves. I am doing M.Tech in Electrical engineering[protected] batch) in Narasaraopet
engineering college at Narasaraopet in A.P. I got admission via GATE exam and
through my college me and my friends have applied for GATE stipend; I am a
eligible candidate for GATE stipend. Now i am doing my second year M.Tech. Till
today i didn't get even a single paise from AICTE as GATE stipend. What they are
saying is it will take some more time to provide that stipend?.. We are the
students and we have lot of expenses for our studies, for our project etc. I
have planned to do M.Tech with the hope that GATE stipend will help me to do
some technical courses, can manage project expenditures etc. When will they give
stipend?... If they are not giving that stipend for our needs and if they give
it after i complete my studies, in what way that stipend will help my
studies????... I don't know really why this delay.. But it really affect my
career improvement.. I request you to take action for this issue.

I am eligible for getting stipend, but my name is not in the list that AICTE send in my college.I want you to know that students having lesser score and in same category in my college got a stipend.

sir, i am studying m.tech in GMRIT engineering college [[protected]]. I have gate qualified candidate i got the stipend for two semesters around Rs.68, 000 out of Rs.96, 000. College administration told to us, we had sanctioned only Rs.68, 000 for your batch so we loose Rs.27, 000. when we had asked them replay for that AICTE has sanctioned only for above mentioned amount, we have waited for 5 moths after the sanctioned amount handed over to us whether we get the remaining amount or not please give us replay as early as possible.

we, the students of M.pharm from A.R. COLLEGE OF PHARMACY, VIDYANAGAR affiliated to GUJARAT TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY, Ahmedabad. we bag to say that in first year we got 12 months stipend, but for the second year they are giving only 10 months stipend instead of 12 months, the principal of college is refusing to give remaining amounts, they are telling that you have submitted the THESIS in 10 months and so you are eligible for 10 months stipend.

In AICTE Portal, when i am checking for my student details, A column named IS DUPLICATE STUDENT has recently generated and it contains IS DUPLICATE.Concerned authorities in our college failed to explain about it and because of this i am not receiving gate stipend.If any one knows about it, kindly inform.Any help line/toll free number of AICTE will be of great help in solving the issue and getting stipend.

1 SPACE and CONDITION OF BUILDING
Right know this institute contains only one building in which they run 2 collages
1 mkm institute of management
2 BLM institute of nursing
And they also run the combing boys hostel in the same building .And the condition of B.L.M institute of nursing building you can see in the following photos

2 OTHER PROBLEMS
Today mkm institute don’t also fulfill some guidelines of A.I.C.T.E for example
1 he did not organized the class of finance students and according to A.I.C.T.E GUIDLIES he have to organized the class and this institute don’t have a teachers who know the finance
2 They don’t provide computer education because most of computers are not working in computer lab.
3 they demand bribe or fine for the internal marks and if some one don’t the bribe or fine then they give him poor marks in internal so all the student give bribe or fine for good internal marks and this institute don’t complete the course of M.B.A students .

Please take some serious action against this institute because they don’t fulfill the guidelines of A.I.C.T.E and don’t provide good education..

Request for the cancellation rule of ME/M.TECH. scholarship

I am doing ME in Mechanical Engineering from a recognised
university.My first semster S.G.P.A - 6.14, CGPA 6.14 and in second semester SGPA 7.14, CGPA 6.64 .It can say that at the end of first year CGPA is 6.64.In that case i am not getting scholarship last 18 month, I only received scholarship only for 6 months.
But from the same university my friend doing ME in Mechanical
Engineering .His first semster S.G.P.A -7.14, CGPA 7.14and in second semester SGPA 6.14, CGPA 6.64 .It can say that at the end of first year his CGPA is 6.64. [here CGPA=SGPA in case of first semestar, and incase of second semester CGPA =(first semester SGPA+second semester SGPA )/2]
In that case he getting full scholarship for 24 month.
I think result are same for both the cases.Why i am not getting
remaining scholarship.

There were lot of students failing in drawing and computer science subject for B Tech 1st year . The supplementary question paper was also difficult. What will be the fate of so many student who do not clear this test. Teacher assigned for drawing course is not adequate in many colleges in Hyderabad. i duly qualified GATEexam and took admission to M.tech programme in biotechnology in Heritage Institute of technology(AICTE approved), kolkata, W.B. in 2008(july) but i am yet to receive the GATE stipend .It is now very difficult for me to continue my studies further without my due scholarship.
Since GATE scholarships are provided by MHRD, govt of india, it is a pertinent question to them how long i am to wait for the same.

The Professional Technical Institutions Like-Institution of Mechanical Engineers(India), Navi Mumbai, Institution of Engineers(India), Kolkatta, IETE-New Delhi etc. are recognised directly by the MHRD, Govt. of India.

Recognition bodies like-AICTE, UDC, AIU, DEC etc.. wotks under MHRD, Govt. of India.

However, before awarding any recogntion for the Courses conducted by the Technical Professional Institutions like-Chartered Engineers Exam. [AMIMechE], Technician Engineers Exam.[T.Eng.], AMIE, AMIETE, AMAeSI etc... the MHRD gets reviewed the syllabus, rules & regulations, standard of courses etc.. of these Professional Bodies and ONLY ON THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE AICTE THE MHRD awards recognition to these courses.


So, go ahead withe IME Degree /Diploma Course & perform well.

We are the students and we have lot of expenses for our studies, for our project etc. I have planned to do M.Tech with the hope that GATE stipend will help me to do some technical courses, can manage project expenditures etc. When will they give stipend?... I am from Andhra Pradesh doing my Post graduate in reputed college. I have Qualified in GATE 2009 and getting stipend. I mean to know whether STIPEND and SCHOLARSHIP are the same. We people have the eligibility to take both of them. As Gate Stipend is the reward given by the Central Govt. and Scholar ship is the one given by the state Govt for the poor people in the way of FEE REIMBURSEMENT. We people joined post graduation because of this facility. With the free education and with the stipend money we are able to move on.
But in our college people are not issuing the same as it is said that " There is no eligibility to take 2 types of Scholar ships at a time". One thing should be clear about it.. is that correct or not...If it is so why we should struggle for the GATE for about 2 yrs in the B Pharmacy.
We joined PG because of this reason but we are unable to get the money and suffering a lot with the college management and Principal. It should be clearly Described by AICTE r any other Concerned Department to stop the cheating and misleading of the poor students.
With GATE stipend we cannot pay the complete fee because Our FEE is Rs.1.04, 875/- but the stipend we get is Rs.96, 000/- (Home taking RS.84, 000/- and the remaining as the commission to principal)How can we atleast pay the fee.If we are eligible to take single Fund how can we live and who can bear our expences. Govt Officials, Management and Principals of all colleges Please think about the life of a student who come to your feet to learn and dont bluff or cheat us. Please help us.

i agree with this complaint...it is 100% correct that labs are not conducted in this college...
college don't have a principal...Even transport facility is not good...college provides only 4 buses...management is not good...no R.T.C facility to the colll...A student needs to walk...3 km from the bus stop to reach the college...The management is least bother about the students...many of the faculties have not completed..b tech...no faculty can talk english fluently... i request AICTE to take neccessary steps in this direction...

This director had 2 institutions Near by one of them is Princeton college of engg & tech and other one is SPR college of engg.when there is an inspection in SPR college they will transfer all heavy machines from Princeton laboratories to SPR and vice-versa. even HODs don't have proper teaching capabilities.when student complaint to management(director) students will be punished by giving less marks in internals and external lab exams.because of this college students from JNTU counseling suffering a lot.
MONEY MAKES ATTENDANCE AND INTERNAL MARKS.
Even though student is absent through out the semester i.e., student with 0% attendance is allowed to write exam if he satisfies management with money for the same money he will be good internal marks and lab external marks.

The day we entered college, after our counseling it appeared as a hell, the lucky students got rid of nastiest PRINCETON COLLEGE. Which proclaims itself to be the best Educational Centre unless one probe it the college the standards can’t be known. The Management is interested in making money effortless .
This college is govern by 2 people The director [Dr.Prabhakar M.com PhD] & Other one is G.Raju [Uneducated]. Director visit the college only while JNTU INSPECTION is set in motion. So the rest of the time the only King of college is G.Raju [uneducated].. This uneducated fellow recruits Engineering Faculty. He picks people who are ready work for low salary. These selected people will come and teach us. We made several attempts to expose this crime. But our efforts are fruitless due to corruption from root level in JNTU
At the end of the day Student is suffered. We are innocent preys of this business,
The required No. of books are not available in library. Students are also not allowed into library.
Please bring us from this dark and put an end to the this selfish money making

some of the complaints about our college is follows :
No internet facility, if exists it is not given to the students.
Our college offers facility like gym, laptop, ...etc before we joined to this college. after taking addmission they cheated all students.
They conducting classes in alldays exept sunday even in third saturday also
All the colleges of anna university are reduced their feeses but this college is not ready to reduce the fees.
sir the colllege conducted the class time in most of the days is morning 8.00am to 6.00pm this college have no cultural programmes and no any good facilities actually the college teachers tryng to harazing the students the college authorities mostly spek in tamil so the malayali students does not under stand. and a mechanical department class teacher has very cruely beated the students he has conducted the classes in sundays

* No hygienic drinking water provided to us if we drink for one day we are gettin throat infection
* No proper class rooms, staffs athey dont have any subject knowledge
* No proper toilet facility for each block one toilet which is in very bad condition around 500 students are to use one toilet
* If we post any complaints regarding this we are threatened by the Management. The college MD directly warns us for sueing us.
* No buliding are lab facilities but college has got permission for running diploma courses, pg courses and engineering courses, now newly started an engineering PBIT within the same campus showing girls hostel building. plz taken action

We the 21 students from Dr. D.Y.Patil Pharmaceutical Sciences & Research, Pimpri, Pune, under university of pune, in Maharashtra state are forwarding our submission as follows.
We have taken admission to M.Pharmacy (Postgraduate degree) course in 2007 through GATE merit (Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering-Pharmacy).Hence we were eligible for stipend during two years of M.Pharmacy post graduate course[protected]. We have received stipend of 60, 000 for first year. However, the stipend of 2nd year is not received yet. Almost all students have completed the course by the date. Most of the students left the college after receiving the provisional degree certificate on completion. The college authority says that the compliance for stipend has been made by us to AICTE office in New Delhi.

We have taken admission to M.Pharmacy (Postgraduate degree) course in 2007 through GATE merit (Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering-Pharmacy).Hence we were eligible for stipend during two years of M.Pharmacy post graduate course[protected]. We have received stipend of 60, 000 for first year. However, the stipend of 2nd year is not received yet. Almost all students have completed the course by the date. Most of the students left the college after receiving the provisional degree certificate on completion. The college authority says that the compliance for stipend has been made by us to AICTE office in New Delhi.
It is therefore requested you to look into the matter & stipend for second year of M.Pharm for year[protected] may please be released as early as possible.

During examinations i take MICRO(local name for xerox of whole book or a guide named MATRIX) in examination room. Dummy externals visit our college during exams just for taking bribe from our SECRETARY ( after filling their pockets they also join hands with internals to get us maximum marks we can get).
i have never seen any equipment in any of our labs in working condition. those apparatus and computers are just for showcasing... especially for WBUT(my respected university).
my college takes 60 student as intake every year in every branch, but our classrooms are too small to accomodate even 40.
i have never faced any problem, even though my attendence was below 5% in last 4 semester.
our respected secretary has opened anoter engineering college somewhere near MANKAR. he is planning to open another one in near future. All of the fees that we submit every semester goes into his own house(my secretary is four sibling.. now all of them have three storied buildings ..even bigger than my college. they all had just one home before college was inagurated 6 years earlier).
During campusing this year 6 smaller companies visited our college(all paying 3000 a month). they all turned out to be fake.


story is even bigger then i can write. And this is not only my story. This is story of all 1200 students of my college. what is our fault . don't just polish already polished colleges(IITs or NITs). turn ur head towards us too. we are also human beings. don't let our college turn us into dumbo . we also don't want to lead dogs life. atleast let us try

Sir i am studing in MNSK College of engineering, Tamil Nadu. I am from kerala.

The Institute has been got affiliated to AICTE this institute totally waste. no proper lab, and no lab equipments. no hostel facility. but they ask money for each and every thing. they always collect fine fees.

Sir i am student of AIT college ajmer (6th sem), i have secured aggregate of 71 till 3rd sem but this time i am not satify with rtu chechking, they have just given me "0 0" in Random Variable and Stochastic processes paper(paper code 2989) which from my point of view is not possible because i am very much confidence about my paper, at least zero is not possible.I also know that their is no rechecking processes, but the only thing i want, is to see my answer sheet, I have this right from the right of information, but nor the college or neither university is listening, please help me, it's a question of my future :-(

We are studying M.Tech in K.L.University, Vaddeswaram, GUNTUR (dt). The University authorities have intimated all the students to pay Rs. 5000/- (compulsorily) for an unknown Software from the University. They are collecting the amount only from the students who did not purchase the Laptops. We are not having individual Laptops/ Computers. Hence, purchasing the Software from the University authorities is not necessary for us during our course and also we are at the end of course which completes within months.

Our University is also collecting more Examination fee, and unknown fee with different purposes (names) than other Universities.

Our parents are reluctant to pay such amount, as they had paid more annual fee for our course which makes a lot of burden to them.

So, we request to exempt us from purchasing the software. Please take a considerable and favorable action in favor o[censored]s.

Government Medical College/Academic section — Delay in application process

I have completed my post graduation from govt. Medical collge, patiala-147001 in may 2008. As a requirement of my higher studies in uk, i needed a certificate from principal about the examination pattern. I e distribution of marks for theory and practicals, criteria/guidelines for appointing examiners for pg practical/clinical examination. For the same, i submitted a application through the fax, by speedpost in feb lastweek and also in person through one of my friend. Till now, i havenot received any feedback from them though the documents. Whenever i call the person involved in the work he says the file is yet to be signed initially (First week of march), now he is saying its still kept pending. As its one of the life deciding factor for me to get neonatology training abroad and my fellowship application will not be processed till i submit the required document, my future educational opportunities are at stake.
I request you to intervene appropriately and help me in getting the required document.

I am a student of bhai maha singh coleege of engineering, muktsar, punjab.
Sir as it is known to all that this college is affiliated by ptu, it is also approved by aicte new delhi.
But it can not fulfil the norms and requirement of aicte.institute is not having required softwares and hardwares to fulfill the needs of students of computer science. Same condition is of electronics and mechanical department. Labs are not having circuits as well as machines in running conditions. Degrees and certificates of many lecturers and asstt. Professors are fake. If ptu or aicte teams come in the college for inspections, the matter is solved by money.

There is a lot of problem in girls as well as boys hostel. At this time when the temperature is above 40. C then college admin as well hostel admin doesn't allow a single cooler proper medical facility like ambulance facility is not available for night. Sir please help us.

I agree. Many engineering colleges are collecting too much fine and fee without any facilities. I am also affected. Because of too much fee in one of the engineering college at chennai. Now i have discontinued my course on 23/01/2010. I have paid one semester fee and before writing my m. E first semester exams i ve discontinued my course. I didnt receive even my hall ticket from the college. College is collecting more than double time fee from the students even if they join through counselling. From january 23rd till date i am running to the college daily to collect my originals. They are asking me to pay balance 3 semester fee or atleast one semester fee. (Very high fee) for releasing my certificates. Because of this problem i could not join any where this year also. They are spoiling my future and now i am affected mentally. I have all the document for first sem. Please help me. What to do. Can i get my certificates without paying money.
