taken prepaid connection in Sept 2007 from sector 37 (distributor ) grover communication , faridabad
This connection is not working since 15/12/07 even though i have given all ID proofs to the distributor as well at the AIRTEL office located at sector 37 . I have subbmitted the ID proofs two times at AIR TEL office but still my connection is not working .
I regret to say that even after several rounds to the air tel office at sector 37 .
I request u to please refund my total amount which i had paid because i am totally fad up with the casual approach of the air tel for undue response towards the customer.
My plan is 649 with 2 years validity & Rs 100 talk value & Rs 50 free local calls per month
My current balance is more than 1100 RS.

AirTel — registration of sim

sir this is roop krisha i am rinnning a business school, in delhi my no is [protected] i have taken this no. on 1/04/08 and i am submited my all proofs there at AITTEL SUPER TECHNOSYS E-62 LAXMI NAGAR VIKAS MARG DELHI .They cut my no. after 4 days.because of adrss.proff.again i submit my proof day before yesterday they again cut my no.beacuse of adress.proff.this prosses has done at 4 times.with me what is the problem.pl.tell me and they give me some cust care nos.[protected], [protected], when i call on these NUMBERS.no body can pick the phone they are always switch off.sir i want to know what wronge with my number.this is very poor service they cut my number without information.they are talking very much routly.my requset is this please see the matter.it is very urgent for me

Hi,

2 months back I purchased a new SIM for my lost SIM. I gave them 100/-. They didnt even gave me the receipt of the same. They said that the SIM will ge activated within 24 hrours. After 3 days, the SIM is not still activated though. When I contacted them personally, they said that the SIM was faulty and also asked me to purchase a new SIM by paying 100/- again. Helplessly I purchased the SIM day before yesterday @ 2:00 PM. They again promised me that the SIM will get activated again after 24 hrs. Now still the SIM registration is inactive. I went their today morning @ 10:00. And also told them if sim doesnt get activated by 2 today, I will take a legal action. My wife happens to be a lawyer, will take steps under her guidance.

AirTel — Sim Registration Failure

I lost my sim card last week and i came to Airtel head office at Santhome, Chennai.
And i provided all my details and they issued a duplicate sim and told me that it will be activated within 5 days and its not activated still. Everytime i insert my sim card it shows sim registration failed. Kindly take necesary action as soon as possible.

On 18th I purchased duplicate SIM in place of my old SIM in view of lost of Mobile by producing all necessary documents. Later after specified time when I inserted in to my mobile it is prompting that the "registration failed".


The serial no of the SIM is[protected]U.


In fact I am staying in Orissa near Bhubhaneswar. Since I have come to Chennai I have visited your MANDAVELI AIR TEL Office personally and got the SIM. So I request you to please check and rectify the same.


Where as in case of replacement you please send it by courier to the following address.

    My office is located Andheri(w) besides Fame Adlabs, from past one week all the airtel users along with me are facing connection problems. We cant make outgoing calls, no incoming calls, nor outgoing sms.....only thing works is incoming sms. I'm tird of this as cell is the lifeline of business today.

    a complaint against adlabs indore.the crowd which comes here is very bad.they shout and keep passing comments all over.not any normal comments, but very vulgar, and rude, not even considering the ladies around.the same behaviour is not seen in pvr cinema in the same city.the security outside checks our chewing gums in our pockets but dont at all bother to control the guys who pass such comments.jodha akbar was a very bad experience there. the movie created a very bad impression on me just because of the crowd in adlabs.i please bring this to notice that something should be done against it.

    I am having 4 connection of AIRTAIL and recently shifted from Brindaban Society to EVEREST WORLD, KOLSHET ROAD, THANE - 400 607 where in my hosue not getting signal from airtail for that spoken to customer care and assured that some one visit and check but as on today no one has turned up.
    If this is continue then I force to swich on to some other network

    Not yet activated No [protected] need urgent help even after refilling for 375 and also 1 year validity pathetic service i must say to change from vodafone to airtel.
    This is to inform you that, my mobile number [protected] is coming switched off dailly for those who calles me from outside though it is switched ON. It is happening since last couple of weeks and due to this I miss many important calls from my villages and city too. Further to this I get many messages to answer unnecessarily and if I don't answer these messages my balance gets deduted.

    If you think, you have many users like me then please let me know accordingly so that It will help me to have another card instead of Airtel.

    You are therefore requested to look in to this on priority else I will have to move to Consumer court to get this problem resolved forever.

      NOP (WAP) is active on my prepaid mobile number (Airtel, West Bengal telecom circle) for last few months. From the first week of November, 2007 I am getting a problem to access some login-web pages (like some email login pages). When trying to access getting response "Unable to create a secure connection to this server" or "Web: Connection time out" (Mostly last one). I have noticed that SSL (Secure Sockets Layer, security protocol for TCP/IP) encrypted connection is not available. To cheek the actual problem I have tried to access " login.yahoo.com " & " https://msp.f-secure.com/web-test/ (Provided by F-Secure Mobile Anti-Virus to cheek the web connection to update the Anti-Virus)" and got the same trouble.
      I have installed another web browser (NetFront v3.2) in my handset and when trying to access getting reply " ERROR SSL handshake https://login.yahoo.com/config/login_verify2? " or " ERROR SSL handshake https://msp.f-secure.com/web-test/ " (but I am not getting any problem to access other normal HTTP pages & problem only persist in case of HTTPS pages).
      Currently I cant access mobile hotmail, mobile gmail etc.

      I have contact with Airtel GPRS help desk/customer care/Nodal Officer but they cant help me.
      At last they told informed me that SECURED CONNECTION will not be available.
      I'm in great trouble.

      Yes, Tapas is right.
      the same problem found with my connection (Airtel Live). Before November there was no problem with security of connection. But at this time its a great problem for email access.
      Airtel did nothing on it.
      SSL has been stop by Airtel. Customer care/Nodal officer are useless in this issue.
      via this comment i'm requesting airtel to start this service.
      my question is that why airtel is not doing anything.
      No positive result till now.

      I am Shekhar and my Mother in Law is using a prepaid no [protected] which is a lifetime activated card we have requested no of times (fro past 6 to 8 months for deactivating the pitcure messages services for which we are charged Rs 30 monthly, we have tried all options (Un Luv, un Love a and all others informed by the call centre agents ) but the problem persists.
      Request you to please deativate the services of picture maessage which we get from the Airtel server.

      I cant understand that whats the problem Airtel have to give this secured (SSL) connection !!!
      Https / secure sites r not opening... And speed is like a snail moving... Very very slow... 3rd class speed even on edge enable mobiles... Also why is north user given only 2mb download file size limit while rest of india 3mb download file size limit in this service.[other companies like bsnl, idea give 5mb at least in whole india]

      I have given lot of complaints regarding bad network coverage near my residence. They keep postponing my resolution target date and also few times the closed few complaints without my knowledge even issue was not resolved. We need to take some action against them.

      Street Light in front of my house is not working from the day the lights are installed .

        Dear Sir/Madam,
        Compliments of the day and Happy New Year. I am Himanshu Arora from Amritsar (Punjab). I am a subscriber of Bharti AirTel from atleast 3 to 4 years. My Airtel number is [protected]. It was previously a postpaid connection till 24th December, 2007, but on 24th December, 2007 I migrated to prepaid service with the same number. After the activation of this number I got it recharged with Rs.1999 for Two year validity also got the balance of Rs.1779.
        From last few days, I was trying to activate Hello Tunes service of One Year Subscription for Rs.200 by dialing *678#, but there was an error coming again and again as "We are experiencing network difficuties. Please try again later." Then I visited an Airtel Dealer for the E-Recharge of Rs.200 available specially for this service, but it also resulted in failure to activate and after that atempt I got a sms from the sender "ERecharge" on 3, January, 2008(Time= 6:41 P.M.) as "The VAS ID you requested is UNAVAILABLE. Retailer may have typed a wrong VAS ID, pls ask him to check and try again. TRANS ID[protected].". At 8:14 p.m., my balance amount was Rs.1722. Then at near about 8:15 p.m. on 3rd Jan., 2008, I again dialed *678# for another atempt for activation from my end and after the appropriate process I got a screen message indicating "Thank you for using *678# service. Press *1 to go one level up." After this I checked my balance amount, it was Rs.1722, means no amount was deducted from my balance and I got no message regarding the request or the activation time to be taken, so I thought it as the failure of that atempt, then I tried this thing atleast 2 times more facing the same problem without any deduction of amount and not even received any acknowledgement message regarding pending or approval for the desired request. After three atempts I decided to call Customer Care at 8:18 p.m. for the enquiry against the failure to my request, but they told me that my request has been approved and it is in process till 48 hours for activation, in addition they told that my all the three atempts were taken in consideration and they'll deduct Rs.600 instead of Rs.200 on the activation of the service providing me three year subscription. So, I requested them to just consider the first request and also requested check my loyality towards Airtel from the past years since my subscription and also told them that it is the duty of the service provider to acknowledge the customer for the Pending or the Approved request after every atempt. They replied me that I must have waited for sometime, then I answered that I tried for three times but even though I had not got any message to wait or either regarding my request is in process. I requested them a lot to help me in this regard and try to cancel my two requests and just activate the service for only one year instead of two and give my rest amount back. They finally told me that they cannot do anything in this regard.
        As I was very much worried about loosing my balance of Rs.600 instead of Rs.200 of Airtel number [protected], it has come true and my balance of Rs.600 has been deducted today (i.e., 7th January, 2008) in the morning at about 8:31 a.m., moreover my service has not been activated inspite of deducting the amount. I request you to please call my metioned number and get to know that how a well known company does fraud to its customer by deducting the amount for a service without even providing it !
        I again request you to please help me in getting my amount back from Airtel. It'll be a very kind favor to me.

          we had no clled 42401886 with airtel first of all we logged in a request on 1 oct for shifting to noida after 45 days the phone was shifted and and there was billing continuing on this no and new number alloted to us.
          and then shifting and name changed charges levied and the plan which was agreed for or continuing from 3 years was not applicable and some 4ooo rs bill was generated and no break given and which finally resuklted in disconnection and 10 compalin no given atleast a dozen of executives i spoke to no one wants to take onus till date there is no clarity of bill
          i am really fed and curse my self to choose airtel.

            This is regarding cancellation of telephone line[protected]. I am highly astonished to see that various conversations with your Customer care Executives(latest by Ms Sonia & Ms Vandana) and various requests (latest Request no.192759) for cancellation of my telephone line which were made in the past 2 months did not yield any results and in fact did not elicit even a response. This, you surely would understand is affecting my daily working
            Highly disappointed, I hereby say that I would not be able to pay further bills.

            We would appreciate if this problem is solved immediately.

            Airtel — Cancellation of telephone line

            Hi all,

            I am using Airtel broadband services for past 6 months. At this point of time i thought of discontinue wih Airtel. So hence i have requested for cancellation. I did not get any response from their customer care. I have requested for planty of imes, but they call me up and asking for change in plan. I have told them clearly that i do not have a computer at home so i cannot use the broadband connection. I am still finding it difficult to get rid of this problem. Their customer care reps are not allowing to speak with higher officials. I am really disappointed with the service.

            I visit your airtel outlet in triplicane last month 0822010 and took broadband connection, your customer care executive (mr. ashok [protected]) told to me within three working days we provide the connection, an i paid Rs.4000 to mr. ashok but after three days no one is come for the installation i asked to mr. ashok is said more unwanted reason we don't have network in your street we don't have installation box after one week i took connection from BSNL and then came to airtel outlet for cancellation ashok said we could't give cash back we will give only Demand Draft he asked me one week time, now three week is gone i am not recieve my DD. And i asked to mr ashok he gave the mr. sentil no [protected] and i spoke to mr sentil he gave one mob no mr partheeban but one is refund my Rs4000
            please refund my money as well as possible.

              I Brahmdoe Varma tooked a connection of Bharti Airtel No. [protected] two months ago. Recently i m facing a big problem that airtel is charging @ Rs.5/- per message for live update of cricket news but actual problem is that i haven't subscribed for this. They have automatically started this service from 20.12.2007 & deducting the charge of the service as soon as i recharge my mobile but no one is answering to this. Till yet it has not been desubscribed & the major problem is that the no. provided by customer service for cancellation of subscription is also not valid.
              So, i will request to process on the same.

                I Had applied for an Airtel Land Line connection in Hyderabad sometime back. Their representative told me that it will be done within 2 days after I make the payment. Once the Check was given to them Their representative stopped picking up my phone and when i call him from some other number he makes lame excuses that he will be there in 10 minutes or so. I have called there Customer services around 30 times and they are equally ineffective.......

                So after making the payment no connection and no details.........

                So its a sincere suggestion AVOID Airtel Landline/Broadband connection in Hyderabad coz there people in hyderabad are Real Jerks................
                ANd dont screw ur money like i have done.......

                  I recharged my mobile through net banking from ICICI, but its not get recharged. Then I called up Customer care executive, they are saying its technical problem it will take 4 days to solve. Then next time I called up again they are saying the same and disconnected my line. Again I try to calling them, its giving the system voice as pls send a query to 121. Very very bad service providing the for customer from Airtel.

                    its a complete fraud... dont waste time on this ... late in the night when i turn on the tv... is see this crack show... i feel so disgusted... i'm ashamed of these cheater... trying to make money out of innocent ppl.. an sms costs rs.10/- and its complete waste. i see this on Zing and Zee tv...                       There is no coverage of Airtel network in my surroundings for the past 1.5 months.
                      Before we had a good coverage. Important thing is Airtel has provided 2 tower
                      at a distance of 3 to 5 Kms in spite no proper signal at my locations. many of them
                      are Airtel customers in that location but now everyone suffers due this Coverage problem.

                      I have a postpaid connection on my mobile no [protected].My bill plan is "bonus freedom 249-s-mh". Monthly bill charges including rental is Rs 249 in which i have value added service, local sms to other airtel mobile is free.The bill generated for the bill period 17 Aug-2012 to 16 Sep-2012 is of the bill no[protected].It has 59 sms to airtel mobile only for which Rs 59 is added in my bill amount. Moreover, this has increased the final amount calculated as taxes are made on the total amount.
                      I faced same problem in bill calculation last month also. When i reported to an airtel outlet, it was rectified.
                      But it is not possible for anyone to keep on register problems every month.
                      I request you to look into the matter & do the needful at the earliest.

                          I am Airtel mobile user ,mob no [protected].
                          I have subscribed for Airtel prepaid lifetime pack.I have complained Airtel about additional charges of
                          Rs 1.50 being deduced from my balance per day,but the quiet of response i recieved was unsatisfactory.After this enquiry they didnt help me instead deduced additional Rs 3.0 per call
                          I also called Airtel callcenter several times and also
                          written letter to airtel Malad West office about this matter,but I never recieved any response letter from the company.I am frustrated with the kind of service provided.

                            I want to disclose a news about case which i file in consumer court against Playtv ,Zeetv,Ministry of Information Tecnology,Sajid khan(host),Javad Jafri and
                            Airtel.This case is in Before the President District Consumer Disputes
                            Redressal Forum Gurdaspur.

                            In this case, i win 11Lac(10 lac prize+1 lac bouns) rupees in a TV show HOUZEE which is displayed on Zee tv and Playtv on 13 Nov 2005 at 1200 noon in my NICK NAME A000130 and cut 10 rupees from my mobile airtel number [protected] as ticket amount and HIT (sms) after the show with in one and again 3 rupees charge for the sms.After the sms hit they send congraulate and ask me send my addres with pincode via sms which I send and again 3 rupees cut from by mobile balance ( 10 Rs+3Rs+3Rs=16Rs) and they comit me to pay my amount with in 45 days but they do not do so.They call Bombay to present me in show but they also do not do so.After the show they come to me and ask me that we for got to present you in show and feel sorry.
                            They ask me to go back to Gurdaspur (Punjab)and said that we send your check with in the week but they do not do so.I file case against the show .the show do not pay any amount to their other winner and Airtel also made such fraud with their customers and they do not pay any tax to goverment which is aleast 33% and there are more than
                            6 to 11 winners of 11 lacs more than 10 winner are 5lac and more 10 winners are of 2 lacs and others. I am shocked when search on internet about the frauds done by playtv I observe that playtv,zeetv,sonytv,airtel hutch etc made more then 300 frauds . These frauds are done in all the shows like houzee,ultra bid,flip,puzzle etc and get more then 200 people on www.shambhu.in who suffered by these frauds of electronic media. Kindly help us to fight against the crime done by these people to show this in news.we all are very much thankful to you.

                            1) ALL THE TELECOMMUNICATION COMPANYS LIKE AIRTEL,HUTCH,SPICE,IDEA ETC ARE THE SPONSER WHO CUT THE AMOUNT FROM CONSUMER ACCOUNT BECAUSE THEY GIVE SPONSER SHIP TO PLAY,ZEE,SONYTV ETC SO THEY ARE EQUALY RESPONSIBLE.
                            2) SOME HAS TO COME NO FRONT TO FIGHT AGAINST THIS .
                            3) IT IS A DIFFCULT AND SLOW PROCESS BECAUSE MEDIA PEOPLE DO NOT TAKE STEPS AGANIST THE MEDIA PEOPLE.

                                I have registered for do not disturb complaint on 20th July 2009 for the number [protected]. Still getting messages and calls. Ridiculous even after 45 days I get more than 20 messages a day. Do not boast of a service when you cannot implement one. Customer care wants all the numbers so that they can take action. When they monitor all our calls why they can't do this. Airtel wake up- already DOCOMO is improving business.

                                    Hi my mobile number is [protected]. Its a life time prepaid card. I got a message from Airtel (6781) saying that You have subscribed to Hello Tunes. Also It said you can unsubscribe by sending calling[protected].

                                    First of all I never subscribed to any of the hello tunes. Also i did unsubscribe by calling the above number to take precaution. But nevertheless, they have deducted 30 rs for hellotunes and 20 rs for download which we came to know from the customer care executives.

                                    They have unsubscribed the hello tunes but has failed to refund my 30 rs which the customer care said will be done in 24 hrs. Now four days have passed and no action has been taken. Infact they have blocked my number to register to any further complaints.

                                    Not at all satisfied with the Airtel Customer Service.

                                    My Name is Rittesh A Vora & my no. is [protected] . I m customer of Airtel fm last 1 mth. On 09/05/2008 I recd a call saying that “we are Dealers of Airtel & i[censored] pay us Rs 600/ u r call chgs will reduce to 50ps for lifetime. Our Add is at Bandra Also u would get talktime of Rs 600/-.” So I was happy to get the scheme. The next day that is on 10/05/08 there peon came &. He showed an ICard of Bharti Enterprise & gave me a form of Airtel to fill the details. He also took my licence copy & Rs.600 from me. I had saved the mobile nos. from where I recd the calls.
                                    But till date no recharge has been made on my no. nor I hav recd any refund. I call him up on his mobile but he told me that it would be done today. Then after he told you will receive u r refund but no refund is recd by me. Now I came to know that I hav lost that amount. That is ok.
                                    I want to alert the Airtel Co. that on behalf o[censored]r company some strangers r cheating ur customers which would ultimately affect the Airtel Co. The brand name of the Co. is being spoiled. I request u take some rigorous stepts to stop this. I think u can also trace there nos. which r as follows [protected]/[protected]. the first no is working. I request u pl trace the no & catch the culprit or else ur many customers would be cheated & which would affect the companys image.

                                    I had a similar experience. Let me give you a brief on that.

                                    A couple of days ago, I got a call from some Airtel representative (Not sure if he is an actual representative from airtel or some fraud guy). The guy claimed to be calling from the 'Awesome' department of airtel. His name was Raj Shastri ([protected]). He offered me a postpait scheme with rental 199 Rs / month (local 50 ps, std 1 Re) and a free talktime of 200 Rs. I liked this scheme over my current one.

                                    However, to activate this scheme, he asked me to re-submit all identity and address proof documents plus a sum of Rs 600 which is refundable after 3 months. He insisted to pay this amount on cash!!!

                                    Being an existing customer of Airtel, i do not understand why they would ask for the documents again.. Also, why would Airtel charge a deposit of sum of Rs. 600 for a mere change of bill plan?

                                    He claimed to be calling from the office located at

                                    I checked with airtel 121 and they confirmed that there is no department called 121. I believe that there are a group of guys who are doing such frauds. They just want to collect Rs 600 on the name of changing of scheme and eat away that amount.

                                    Such a big company can't correct their services in the biggest Metro of India is unbelievable to me.
                                    I have never missed my payment as I cannot afford to have my connection automatically disconnected.
                                    Yes when the new law comes into place wherein I can retain my no. and choose my service provider I will be the happiest to get out of this stupid Airtel's Network.
                                    To Gaurav, I would like to ask you are a resident of Mumbai since how many years. If you have stayed here for long, you should have known that Interface is a building on Link Road in Malad (W) and Lower Parel wouldn't have any such road. I think u should remember that in every city one cardinal rule applies.

                                    The old city has names of great personalities and the suburbs have modernistic names. That is what my experience says.

The request to deactivate goes where -- only GOD and AIRTEL knows !! The call centres are of no use and the real culprits [ the executives] stay out of reach... I am now conteplating to take up the case strongly with TRAI. Strongly suggest all new users to NEVER go for AIRTEL.

                                    I am following since last 3 days for conversion of benefit of 99 voucher to 89 voucher.

                                    Last month 99 voucher was for internet purpose. Which was confirmed with customer care on Saturday. . But they changed the same on this Sunday. Even the e charge walla does not know about this. I got no balance against the same. Contacted customer care but after 3/4 times, they tell you to just send the message.

And sometime when its there i just couldn't get the voice.I have spoken to the CSR he had provided me the complaint no. i.e. CINDL [protected] which they had said that the network problem will be solved tilll 5th of July and when i Called again they said there is a technical error and it will be solved till 11th July. U will get a call on 11th july in the morning 10am and yet the network problem is not solved. I m fed up of dis service if it doesn't get solvedtill today i'll change my network operator and switch to Idea. I humbly request Airtel to kindly improve there network in this area and don't give the fake promises. DO IT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE OR I'LL TELL ALL MY COLLEGUES NOT TO USE AIRTEL OPERATOR. AIRTEL LOOSING CUSTOMERS DUE TO POOR NETWORKS.

                                      FOR THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER I HAVE A CALL OF YOUR VERY STUPID CUSTOMER SERVICE EXECUTIVE'S WHO GAVE ME A SAYING MY VALIDITY HAS BEEN VALID 29/12/2007.

                                      I THEN VISITED A BRANCH IN OKLHA AND WAS TOLD BY THE REPRESENTATIVE TO WHY EXPIRE MY VALIDITY ON 29/12/2007. BECAUSE MY VALIDITY ON 10 AUGUST 2009.

                                      MY REQUEST REFERENCE NUMBER IS [protected]

                                      ALL THREE ARE UTTERLY USELESS AND UNPROFESSIONAL, I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY THEY ARE EMPLOYED AND IT JUST SHOWS A LACK OF FOCUS AND GOOD JUDGEMENT ON UR BEHALF.
