[Resolved] Akbar Travels — Misleading Information and loss | |||
I had booked a ticket to New York through Akbar Travels for 1st May 2012. The Airline was Kuwait Airways. I was a bit unsure as to what exact date i would return. The Travel A gent told me that the ticket was valid for 6 months, and i can take one date change free of cost at anytime for the return journey. Based on this information, i took the date of return in Oct'12. However when i was in the US, i decided to come back in june. The Airline informed me that i have to pay extra $500 as now peak season rates will be applicable. I tried my best get them to waive this, to no avail. i sent many mails to Akbar Travels to help me out, but to no avail. In all this effort, one month passed, and finally on 15th July i returned after paying the Airline $340 extra. How do i get compensation for the mental tension and the financial loss?
