yes. I agree this comment 100%. I too booked apartment in brooke. but that is totally not good. water will come inside house in raining season from roof...totally bad construction...they wasted all the amount. it looks the apartment cost is very less..but if you go for any small additional work also they will charge very high..and not at all customer friendly..PLEASE AVOID THIS BUILDER...you have to beg even for small work...
Yes. Perfect. I too Agree. I am from Glitters :( One of the worst appartment from Antony. They does'n know to construct a single room. They are not at all a choice for buying a apartment.

Very very true...
1. Gets more money at the initial stages itself.
2. Treats you like a customer only until they get your money. Any changes in your house you have to shell out the huge sum they ask for (even for very small changes)
3. Layout/plan are worst. eg: pillars will be protruding out of your wall, in the middle of your hall. and worse, the pillar will not be flat and you will have to call the people n number of time to make it even. Too many common walls between houses.
4. No quality in construction except that they use bricks instead of hollow blocks (not sure abt how they do for their new peojs)
5. No co-ordination between the office and the engineers on site
6. Site engineer runs away and new one comes every 2months. Everything that you told/discussed with him has to be done again.
7. Each block/house will be sub-contracted to another sub standard contractor who employs, i would say "TRAINS" his employees.
8. People at office do not respond to your emails and worst, they don't even see your email.
9. They promise you too much (park, gym, party hall etc) at budget price and end up even without a quality building.
10. What is in agreement will be changed even without your notice. eg. your car parking will be allotted to someone w/out your notice/approval. and worse, the parking lot will not be of the same size is what they mentioned
11. Employs very old drainage system. And worse, they share that with their other phases without your knowledge.

YOUR FLAT WILL LEAK EVERYWHERE ONCE THE PEOPLE ON TOP OF YOU START USING THEIR BATHROOMS OR IF IT IS RAINING. when i say leak, it really rains all throught out your hall, bed rooms, everywhere.
Visit all antony apartments before you buy one from them. or at least, the one in nanmangalam where my friend is still having problems even after 2 years after occupying it (they haven't yet completed it).

Agreed with all the points mentioned above...Very Clever in Every Move ...Finish off the Registration in early stages to get all your money and make u Suffer in paying EMI's [ in case of Loan]. Engineers change every month to month. Marketing People are so dumb that they will just listen what we talk and then after that the nothing will be there in action.

As a consumer We are happy that the associated builder is Growing but they should not take the old customers GRANTED in term of QUALITY.

Yes, I too agree, They keep on changing the managers too. So, When you book it will be Mr.A, and When you submit your modification requests It would be Mr.B in that place, While you see the apartment not being built as you asked and contact them It would be Mr.C answering the complaint & he would say He has no idea about your request. Before the handover of flat Mr.X will be there in the job & when you go for maintenance related issues in the apartment There sits Mr.Z who knows nothing about the history started from Mr.A

I should Mention one point, As for as the layout I like the plan & space they provide comparing to other builders but They are not good at execution. I mean, The top management might be good in their vision, But the people who make it happen in the field are not up to the mark.

Very very poor quality of work and the way they delay even the furnitures we order with them will show how they delay the project.
We ordered furniture and after waiting for more than 1 week and daily calls to them to check on the progress, they come back stating that the particular model of the furniture is no longer built. Then why the hell they still have them in the display without stating a word about this.
Its a very long wait with Antony be it the building or the furniture and as others mentioned above, they keep changing their managers and engineers every week. Pathetic response to any of our queries and I booked the house in April 2011 and still waiting for its hand over :-(

I'm also a worst affected customer of Antony Builders. I'm residing @ Pathway, Urapakkam. I also faced most of the complaints discussed in this thread. Important thing is worst quality of material they use to construct, from brick to paint, from door to switches everything is low rated quality materials and also bad finishing of work. Their tactics is frequently changing the Site engineer, so whenever a new person came we have to start all from the beginning. It will really frustrate us. Recently they took out night security facility without informing any o[censored]s, even though we reminded to marketing several times they haven't provided new security, unfortunately one of our neighbor lost his bike. And one thing i want to beg to people who reads this, please come and visit our flats before buying from Antony's any of the projects. I saw lot of people booking in their new project near urapakkam, really i cant stop them from doing it. They will provide 10% lesser price than other builders in that locality and they will show that difference in the quality. Don't think of spending extra 4 / 5 lakhs with other builders. Go for better quality.

I am willing to select the less than one (1) star. Because my rating is not bad, very very bad. But in chennai many of the builders are like that only. Because in chennai is consider as a Real - Estate buyer market. So all the decisions are taken by the builder. Agreement also favor of builder side. From this level now Bangalore & Hyderabad cities are little bit changed. So kind attention to investment guys "Please buy your investement flats in any other cities. Not in Chennai.
The finishing of flats is not good as expected, the windows and doors finishing is very poor. But you should agree that the space provided for common areas is good. We should accept that the rate at which they offered was lowest among the builders during 2010. My only worry is concerned with STP and the quality of companies they have chosen for STP instalation or be it the GYM equipments provided.
I do not want to narrate my bad experience with them as I see a methodology in cheating the customers, going by the posts shown above. I've booked their flats in Guduvanchery and they not only disregard the customer's requests but also display an absolute arrogant attitude.
Waiting for the hand over of my flat and I am sure there are violations. Will certainly take them to courts as there was enough evidence to show their poor customer service and certain to have plan deficiencies.

I am also one among the cheated customer by Antony. If some one know how to take this builder legally please provide the details.
Offering budget apt is not an eligibility to compromise quality. At the end of the day, it should be at least a house. What Antony builders construct and deliver is not a house - its a leaky roof and cracking walls.
If there is a system in place where the house payment can be done after 1 year of residence, then no body will dare to pay this builders - instead return the house.
There is no exaggeration nor any overlooking, but all practical comments.
Consider going to some clean builder.

I had purchased a flat in a project at Antony's Monreve, I had never experienced such a good reception of customer in any other companies. The Executives were very co-operative each and every time I had contacted. They are also very transperent in the commercial terms. I have realy enjoyed the relationship with Antony projects. As a customer I strongly recommend Antony Projects.
Do not go with the fraud company, they never deliver the flat in time and construction is not good . Even they never respond if you call

I agree that they delay in project but not too long, even if they delay they complete all the work with the satisfaction.
