Hello Sir, The Autorickshaw driver details, Name: Goffer Baig DL NO. - 6450/2000 Badge No. 1858 Police No. 7680/06 Address- No. 14, 7th Cross, OLD Baglur Lyt, Lingarajpuram, Bangalore-04 This Autorickshaw, driver, initially asked for and extra amount of Rs 10, on the meter (which Later he aggreed to come for Meter Charges). I had boarded the auto near Forum, Koramangla, destination Vinayaka Nagar, near murugesh palya. The Usual fare is ~Rs65. The Meter Showed ~Rs86. Charged ~Rs 21 extra. When confronted with the reason of meter showing the wrong figure, the autorickshaw driver, misbehaved abusively. Kindly take immediate action on this autorickshaw driver. Auto Rickshaw — Incorrect fare charged

The above mentioned rickshaw has a tampered electronic meter. His fare for a short distance that comes to Rs. 12 shows as Rs. 16.

I have seen this happening many times now. I have come to Bangalore few times from Chennai or Coimbatore in overnight buses and got down at Silk Board which is a major junction in Bangalore early in the morning between 5-6 AM.None of the autos available at that time come by meter and ask for exorbitant rates. They ask for Rs. 200/- even for going upto Jayanagar 5th block. One is already tired due to the bus journey. On top of that you have luggage and then you to bargain with these guys on the side of the road. This is very stressful.
I hope the authorities do something in this regard and dont let these autofellows fleece the customers.
