I am K.Padmanabhan, registered with Baby cell, a company that is supposed to collect and save cord blood. A representative from the company approached me with all false promises and cheating words. he said all other companies will cheat and wont collect properly. he convinced me for one time payment.i paid them Rs. 5000 as advance. i took the package for cord blood and cord tissue. delivery was a planned caesarian. so they were informed well in advance and the staff from baby cell reached the hospital and collected in sterile condition.already I had told them i will pay them in two weeks. next day i was informed my baby' s cord blood and tissue reached their laboratory and process was successful. after 2 days they said everything was fine. blood and tissue were adequate and sterile . i made the payment as i said in 2 weeks . just a day later the payment i recieved a call from mumbai saying that my kids sample was contaminated and they want to inform me regarding discarding the sample. My self and my wife are medicos. i was cheated badly, i think my precious sample aws sold for research or some one in need for a grand sum . any way i lost my precious one. i cant get it back. my kids sample was o positive which is more precious one . .no justice ...all beware of these frauds. govt should check these people... please.
