[Resolved]  Barclay Credit Card Priority Circle Mmbership — Misselling of priority circle membership by barclay credit card priority service

i have receive a sms on 22-oct-2008 that your Barclay card statement has been generated on 17/10/08 and will reach you inj next few days. Total due Rs. 6741.6 dr min Due : Rs. 340 and due date 06/11/08.but from the barclay credit card i never made any transaction.when i confirmed it from customer care then i come to know that it is membership fees for BARCLAY CARD PRIORITY CIRCLE.
i didn't make any commitment for membership fees to barclay representative.it was offered free .then why shoul i pay?

barclay credit card service is also poor because i never receive any billing statement in hand, only through sms i come to know about my dues it was too late.
i have made complaint to barclay credit card priority service through email also did courier to them on date[protected].
This is rigid type of sevice provided by the barclay., This is clear cheating with customer.i want cancellation of this membership that was given forcefully.i am not the only person many other are also in same trap.
please do the needfull in this regard.

Dont worry. They will cancel the amount charged on you. Dont pay a single pany to them. Write to [protected]@barclays.com, showing the proof of what ever you have.

I have been fighting with them for last six months, and finally they cancelled the membershipfee and the interest charges
