[Resolved]  Birla Sunlife Insurance Company Ltd — Higher premium amount

I have purchased a policy from BSLI (Bachat Money back plan policy no.[protected] dated 29th March 2012.

I have agreed for annual payment frequency and amount of Rs 30000 per year.

The policy documents were sent through Blue Dart courier. However the courier was not delivered to me and it was handed over to some security guard Called Mr Rajgopal. The guard did not hand over the documents to me and I got the original policy documents on 5th May 2012.

When I read the policy documents, I found the discrepancy in the premium amount and frequency. I immediately registered a complaint through mail for changing the payment frequency and amount as per agreement while purchasing the policy. (
My complaint was rejected saying that the free look period is over and hence nothing can be done.
After getting this letter I did frequent communication to consider free look period from the date of actual delivery as it was BSLI’s responsibility to ensure the delivery of policy documents to the policy owner and It is not my fault. But I could not get any reply since 19th July 2012

After frequent follow up, I got a reply from BSLI on 19th July 2012 giving the same reason and did not take any actions to resolve my complaint. (

I would like to express my serious concerns for the customer service I am getting from BSLI and request you to look in to the matter at the earliest.

Birla Sunlife Insurance Company Ltd — Non Credit of Renewal Premium

Ref Policy No.[protected]. I had paid my renewal premium (2nd) in the second policy year i.e. March 2006. However the same was not credited to my policy account. Although i was delivered a receipt of the premium cheque that was deposited with the company. On contacting at the company's branch office and on its web-site, i was asked to send some information like a letter from clearing bank where i had an account and the cheque that i had issued got cleared. Although i submitted whatever was demanded from the company still there is no positive response as yet. I am really annoyed and had planned to file a civil suit against the company. Need help on this as its my hard earned money.
