Blackberry 8520 Curve — Endless Problems

In February 2011 I did an upgrade on my cellphone to a Blackberry - What a sad / sorry day it was for me!!!! Two months later I started to have endless problems with my handset - my husband was admitted to hospital with Pneumonia on 25 April and I send a prayer request to various people - not even half of them received the sms - I got calls on my landline @ work and @ home with questions - "Why do you not reply to my calls of sms" meantime - I received nothing - to cut a long story short my handset was handed in @ Vodacare Centurion and within 4 hours I got a sms to fetch it - problem solved - the next week I took it back same problems and it was send to Vadocom for repairs and in the end the phone was replaced by an exchange (not a new) handset. Now 3-4 weeks later the problems start again - every call I receive the people can either hear me of I can hear them - when making a call it will say "connecting" but the person on the other side can not hear me!!! Do I have to carry on using this useless phone for another 18 months and pay for it? Do you think it is fair to pay for a phone that is not 100 operational??? I thought Blackberry was the best handset but boy of boy was I WRONG!! Kitty Malherbe
