[Resolved]  BlackBerry 8520 — Harassing experience from Airtel

I write this mail in absolute angst and frustration with the esteemed telecom Company if India-AIRTEL.
I had bought a Blackberry 8520 Handset in September Last year and my experience has been absolutely harrowing to say the least.
The phone's trackpad stopped responding whithin 3 months of purchase and i gave it to the Airtel Blackberry care center in Sahara Mall, Gurgaon for repair( Repair Form no-12548). They claimed to have replaced the trackpad.
It ran fine for about 15 days and which is when i stopped using it and put it as a backup set for myself. 3 Days ago when i took it out to use it. It is carrying the same problem after a use of 2 days. Trackpad is not responding.
I went to the same Relationship center today and the executive told me that "even though the handset is still in warranty period, we will not change the handset and only the trackpad will be replaced" when i said that it is obvious that the handset is faulty when the same problem has reoccured after the claimed "change of trackpad", his response was " we will replace the trackpad 3 times and then you will be eligible for handset replacement".
Gentlemen, I am not stupid enough to not realise that your company is just trying to pass on the warranty period so that you dont need to change the handset after expiry of the warranty period.
I am a professional working in retail solutions and I also face such customer complaints- only difference is my company goes ahead and satisfies the customer rather than harass him and make ourselves invisible for the customer.
I am expecting some prompt action( read: replacement of the handset) failing which I will be comtemplating going to the court with such callous behaviour of your esteemed company.

Without use any phone why so much amount of bill comes i don't know plz tell about us..

Airtel — harrashment case inspite of paying bill

I am payaj Vijayvargiya and my Ref: A/c. No is .[protected], Cell No.[protected]. I paid the outstanding amt to one of the collection center exec name Nilesh who belongs to " Raj Associates". After all this, Airtel is pressurizing me to pay outstanding money. They also have my security deposite which is also not handed over to me. Please help as i am undergoing mental pressure . I hope, I will get justice thru' you people.
I have not received the bill for the month of April 09 till date despite repeated follow ups.

I had initially lodged a complaint on 12th May 09.
On 20th May, I received a SMS alert confirming that the bill had been delivered to me. However the same was not received at my end.
I again lodged a complaint on 25/5/2009 vide ref no. 21707805.
I have been informed that the bill has come back undelivered as it was refused to be accepted. I have refuted this claim and requested them to get the matter investigated. However, instead of doing the same, the bill was sent by ordinary post which is yet to reach me till date. The latest ref no. given to me is[protected]

On account of non receipt of this bill on time, I have not been able to avail my mobile reimbursement for the month of April 09 leading to financial loss of entire bill amount of Rs. 759/-.

It may further be noted that the bill of May 09 which was despatched on 27th May 9 is still to reach me.

This is sheer harassment to the customer who has to constantly follow up for the bill every now and again and loose out on financial terms. I will not be paying any further bills till the physical bills are received at my end.

BlackBerry 8520 — freezing phone

I recently took in my bb 8520 in for repairs ( 2 months ago) because it froze,the trackball was working but my keyboard had died, after a week i got a brand new phone as it was still on warrenty

about a week ago, my trackball started freezing, now the keyboard works but at times i cannot access anything as my trackball is not moving. if i take this phone in, whats going to happen? am i going to get another "new phone" and pray it doesnt freeze at all?

this is getting really frustrating because i will be phoneless for a week and i use my phone for work etc etc

really now, Blackberry is such a popular brand but the hardware cannot prove it, someone needs to ensure that we are given quality phones, becuase we pay a lot!!!

BlackBerry 8520 — Faulty Handset

I want to make an official complaint about my blackberry 8520. I purchased in June 2010 and as im pay as you go, I have spent £160 on this phone. Not only did the phone go faulty after a couple of months, I took it into the Carphone Warehouse where I purchased it and all they could do was say repair. They took the phone for repair, and did a software update advising me this would solve all problems. A week after this repair the handset has yet again become faulty and is doing exactly the same. White screening. Freezing, telling me I have messages but I cannot see them. Iv advised carphone warehouse I wanted a refund on my product as its not even six months old!! Yet again all they could advise was a repair, as they will not do anything I have now had to go out and purchase a new phone because I have had no assistance what so ever. I will be making a complaint to carphone warehouse as im disgusted they will not return my monies.

Airtel Service gurgaon india — Harassment from Airtel

Hi All,
I am airtel customer in gurgaon area for past 10 years, and i haven't switched to any other subscriber in this period. Earlier we had a incident where we had made a prior payment for the airtel bill was not reflected on there part, that issue take around 2 months to get rectified, and for present also we are facing this issue that one of the airtel payment done on 10 May has not been reflected on there system. in spite of doing several complaints and follow up, no action has been taken on this regard and recently when i call the airtel customer care they told me that no complaint has be made for bill payment. So, on that day i was on call with the airtel people for past 3 hours and then they routed my call to there escalation department but still no cation has been taken on this regard, there people give me routine call regarding bill not payed constantly and in spite of telling them to follow up with there customer support they give us attitude. i am a it consultant and i need constant internet connection as i have to work late nights from home but due to these people have already disconnected by internet connection i could not work, also they are one service provide who has a good wired internet connection in my area. My complain number are as below[protected],[protected]. Also i registered a complaint regarding modem not working and these people close the complaint saying engineer has already visited the site and when i call there customer case they simple hung up the call.
