Blackberry — Problem with defective Blackberry 8900 -- Help needed

Hi,

I am the owner of Blackberry 8900 defective handset. I bought this blackberry cell phone model no. 8900 on 16th April-2010. Right from the beginning, my experience with Blackberry has not been good. Right now my handset is covered under 12 months warranty and don't know what will happen once the warranty ends.

I bought Blackberry 8900 (IMEI no. 357239.03.406867.9) from Authorised dealer (Cariano Telecom) of Blackberry in Kamla Nagar, Delhi for Rs.18000/-
This is to inform you that my cell phone is below expectation in performance and ability.

The following are the problems which I am still facing.

1) The battery life is almost of a day

2) It repeatedly hangs up and has a problem while disconnecting the call

3) Most of the time, while making or receiving call, call goes silient – no voice from either side, hence another problem with the speaker or the
Circuit

4) There are lot many patches coming on the screen in different colours. The most important problem.

Now, after visiting your repair centers and the authorised shop from where i bought this defective handset, what do you want me to do this time, go back again and tell them to rectify the problems !!!

Why couldn’t they do it when I visited your office the first time……..this is shameful for them first not to understand the problem and second, not to handle the problem well!!!

I am a working person and my job involves lot of travelling to different countries and that's why I hardly get time to do some extra things besides the regular job………and I would like to mention that taking rounds of Blackberry service centers, asking them to look into the car problems is very unproductive and I don’t have time for this!!!

Please note all these problems started in the very first month of the purchase and still continues. This is a shocking fact.

I think I’ve suffered enough and this time, I don’t want to go through the same procedure rather would approach Consumer Court and Media if all my problems do not get resolved properly!

Even I have a bitter experience after buying so called smart phone BB 8900. It started giving problem with in 7 months of buying.I think it has design problem of power requirement wrt battery provided.( definitely not matching). My trips to the service center at Bangalore( redington) was a futile effort.The estimate for repair is close to the cost of best model available in the market now. And no surity of quality even after that. Attitude at the customer care makes you feel that you did a mistake by buying Black Berry.
