I purchased a Blackberry Bold 9900 in the month of Sep'11. i paid 32 thousand rupees for this phone.
The phone has the worst battery a smart phone can ever have. i am being forced to carry my charger with me as the battery drains out half way through the day.
In January, the phone crashed while i was using it. i had to get the phone formatted and OS reloaded.
then in Feb, the display wont work when i am on call. it will take atleast 5 mins for the display to come back once the call is done.
I submitted my phone at the service center in Abids (Sri Vinayaka). they sent the phone to Chennai for repair. The phone was returned to me after 8 days with an assurance that the issue wont occur again.
to my shock, the problem started again the 3rd day itself.
I took my phone to service center again. i requested the manager Mr Alok to get the handset replaced as it was giving me trouble. The manager informed me that he would try his best to get it replaced. They sent the phone to Chennai again. the phone returned from Chennai after 10 days.
When i enquired, then informed me that the handset was not replaced. it was just repaired.
I do not want to accept a device that doesnt work properly.
I have sent a mail to the AP area incharge of Redington to replace the handset. Waiting for a reply from him.
Extremely unhappy with the service so far and frustrated with the delay in resolution. Was this information helpful? |
