[Resolved]  BMC Mumbai — Bad Road Condition

Ram Mandir Road-Goregaon West-- must be one of the worst road in Mumbai. Even Rikshaw refuse to come, restaurants refuses home delivery at societies near by.

Paver block on this road are uneven & broken.
Road is there within potholes, If you are in car or Rikshaw, then you may fill that you are having bumpy ride. One may end up with backache or neck ache .
On one stretch there are huts on both side of road and they are expanding in size & encroachment. You never know when kids from huts will come front of you; so be careful when you are driving car.

Even it is not clear who is responsible for maintain road BMC or MMRDA. This is heavy traffic area due to Ram Mandir Railway Phatak, still no one cares.

Hope BMC official can see pathetic situation of road.

I dont understand when are these contractors are going to be punished for the sub standard roads everywhere in Mumbai, every road is having a bad patch of potholes except few places. The patching by done BMC on pothole is so bad and dangerous that it can easily lead to road accident. Because they put some paver blocks or stones on main road and highways, which cannot even last 2-3 rains. Following is the list of places having pathectic potholes
1) JVLR near From L& T Flyover to Seepz entire stretch has lot of bad potholes
2) Under JVLR flyover, so many manholes which are not in proper level footpaths are dug up or encroached resulting in people walking on the roads and causing traffic jams over there.
3) Times of India flyover - The road on TOI flyover was recently repaired and it got damaged in just few showers of Rains.

I hope BMC reads this and takes action on time to reduce traffic jam n accidents.

The Andheri Kurla road is a complete mess right from Andheri Station(E) to Sakinaka junction. The road is repeatedly cut and filled up with paver blocks that soon sink in and create a depression across the entire road width. Many potholes are randomly filled with paver block, mud, sand etc that soon disappear. When will the authorities do something. Or are they hoping that traffic will decrease when the metro service starts

Hi I stay in thane and travel to Mumbai and new Mumbai every day and traveling is so horrible bcoz of bad non maintained roads at some places like after u pass airoli bridge in Mumbai u wil find big path holes which I can see in same condition since last 2 year, other is the service road which goes to lodha complex thane and many more,

These stupid maintainable results slow moving and traffic,
We pay toll what is use of it if we don't get good roads,
Would be happy if some one looks in this get these fixed rgds ashutosh

WORST CONDITION OF Kailash-Hiranandani connecting ROAD
Hello,

This is to bring to the concerned authorities' notice that the famous Road CONNECTING KAILASH COMPLEX TO HIRANANDANI POWAI, is in a very bad condition for more than 2 years. It is full of HUGE pot-holes .
I request that the above mentioned road be constructed again at the cost of contractor who built it. Even if it gets temporarily repaired/filled with Damar, It just lasts for only FEW days. So this is to request you to please get it constructed using good quality material and with the required treatment to avoid further potholes in future.

This is a highly operational utilised road, since the path saves a lot of time of many office goers. So please take this matter at top priority and take speedy action for the same.

Aarey Colony Road is not a road anymore


The entire stretch of 6 kms of Aarey Road from Goregaon check naka to Marol is actually free of Potholes because there is no road left over there .The entire Aarey colony Road in Goregaon has become a Hole and is hence devoid of Potholes .Congratulations to BMC and PWD for making the journey of Commuters travelling from Goregaon to Powai or Marol through Aarey Colony such a nightmare.I just came walking from Goregaon check naka to Marol which is a 6 km distance because the bus after leaving Goregaon check naka was stranded in between Aarey colony for more than 2 hrs.For those who dont know Aarey is a forest area so you are stranded in between Aarey colony and because of traffic you will have to walk off 3 to 4 kms either towards Goregaon or Marol.I request all the people to not take this dreaded route as it can be a night mare if you get stuck in the Aarey colony jungle in between and you might have to sit in your bus or car for 5 to 6 hours or start walking towards Goregaon or Marol which is atleast 3 to 4 kms away and it is in between the jungle.Just imagine what would happen if your bus or car is stuck up on this cursed road after 7 in the evening.I just read in the paper the toll contracter collects 1 lakh every day from toll and this toll is being collected since ages .Where is all the money going.I guess to the corrupt corporators and contractors.Anyways no use of talking abt corruption in this country . Humble request to all Please avoid this road specially during the rains.

I stay in ULWE sector 17 (Navi Mumbai) and from last few days i noticed that there is a lot of digging going around on the empty plots don't know whether it is done by the owners of those plots or not, the people who ever is doing it is not digging those plots with security measurements, i mean they don't check if there is any water pipe beneath or any electricity line going down there. They are simply digging big wells and filling their trucks and vanish. There are several water pipe breakage and loss of electicity, And no one pays attention as the infrastructure team here is missing. I dont know who to complaint about this, i have managed to seal up few water pipes with the help of few watchman's but cant do anything for electricity. There is water logging and ruptured wires can create real mess as there are no hospitals nearby. There is no electricity in my area from last 2 days, i have raised a ticket with MSEB but they wont do anything for next few days as i have been dealing with them from last few months. I hope someone can help me in this situation.

illigle construction in small dhobi ghat mahalaxmi

illigle construction which was demolished by BMC officer last time again it was constructed no body asking how can a person make construction on the way for going in and out

Hi I am Louis Dsouza Footpath outside Convent Girl's High School- Prabhadevi is in very bad shape. Few blocks are removed for from more then month and still it is not re fixed. School children are facing problem.

Kindly look into it and do repairing work as soon as possible.

Road at Dr. Ambedkar chowk near Lokmanya Tilak hospital Sion Mumbai has been undergoing renovation from past 2 to 3 weeks(more not less). If the road was not supposed to be constructed immediately after the upper layer was uprooted then why was the work started in first place causing the traffic to slow downfure. If the work was started then why it was not ensured the work is completed within time. Who is responsible for the damaged road ?? Was it necessary to just uproot upper layer of the already fine road ?

Hello BMC officer I as a citizen of India would like to bring under your kind notice that Roads in Mumbai are becoming bad to worst. I will request you to please ride a bike on this Road you will come to know the condition of this roads full with holes. I am sure you must be waiting for major accident death of any VIP kid or Ministers Kid so you will definitly come in action same as you have done in Lower Parel after death of 14 Innocent life. You have given contract for footpath where people hardly walk on it. Some footpath has not been used for years still you have give contract for new footpath. Road contract are also given to unexperienced contractor, they don't know how to level the road, Drainage cover is some time above the road and some time below, it will never be in one level. And i am sure there will be proper description of speed braker with white or yellow cover, but speed braker is made just like BMC has just done pooh and went without proper hight or length or paint on it. Some time it is difficult to trace that there is speed braker ahead. I had become many time of such speed braker. It is my humble request from all the bikers in Mumbai to look into this mater seriously before the death of a innocent bike due to your mistake. Please woke up before you loss any of your nearest or dearest.
