[Resolved]  BMC T WARD — Picking up of stray dogs

Address:Mumbai Suburban, Maharashtra

Dear Sir,

We are facing a severe problem of stray dogs in our area,Mulund East, Vidyalaya Marg. Slowly thanks to Ms. Maneka Gandhi, there are more dogs then people of the Sambhaji Walking Track.

We also have being complaining that there is a Rabbid Dog in our society premises which is a nuisance for everyone. It has also bitten a child and is making life miserable for us. The BMC comes, picks it up and then leave it back in a weeks' time. This is has already happened twice. But we want a permanent solution for this and request the authorities to permanently get it picked from there.

And also request the government and all pet lovers to ensure they pet all the strayed animals and not just leave them of the mercy of public causing trouble to both the ANIMAL and the Human. or please come back to the old law of picking them and leaving them in the Natural Habitat (and let the law of nature the stronger kill the weaker)

The stray dogs have become a terror even in godrej Hill side colony. We have stopped sending our children to play. People are unable to go for walk. The dogs behave like wild wolves.

Many a times 15 dogs chase a child or a person. I'm afraid someday there will be a mishap. Also if dogs can be allowed then please allow cows and horses in the colony. Why capture the tigers which come in the colony. Let there be uniformity in law. Animal lovers cannot be partial.

There have been so many complaints againsts the Dogs Menance yet no action is taken. Please let us know the procedure to formally lodge a complaint.

Harrased and Terrorised Citizen
There are impossible number of dogs in my parents' society in Nirmal Lifestlye. There have been a couple of cases of people being bitten. I scare for my life when I go to visit my parents there specially at night. I take the auto right up to the building entrance. BMC had picked up dogs from the society some time back but then came back and left twice the number of dogs they originally picked up. I would estimate from a quick visual survey, without exaggeration that there are easily more than 50 dogs in the entire society.

I have lodged a complaint on the BMC website a week ago but theres not been a response yet. Will post here when I get a response
Respected Sir / Ma'am,
This is to bring to your kind attention. We, the residents of Mulund east, Gavanpada, are facing a severe problem of mosquitoes.Mosquitoes are swamping and troubling us day and night. And we surely don't want to take the risks of malaria or dengue. Please send your attendees to spray pesticides in and around our area as soon as possible to reduce the mosquito menance.

Hope you will arrange at the earliest.

Thanking you.
Sincerely,
