Please do not submit any of the personal information being requested. They will just steal your identity and sell it to unscrupulous cyber criminals.The cyber criminals in turn use the information to commit serious offenses like shopping on your credit card without your knowledge, withdraw money from your bank, take loans on your name, buy property in your name etc, . Please be aware of similar emails in the future.

You can tell it is a scam by looking at the grammatical and spelling mistakes the email contains. A famed automobile company would NEVER make spelling mistakes like these! For God's sake, even a fifth grader will point out the mistakes which appear in the email. A few of them are identified below for your convenience :

1. The amount is printed as : "£5, 000.00GBP" but explained as " (Five hundred thousand British pounds)" . Notice how the pounds is typed wrongly as 5, 000 (five thousand).

2. Notice how the fraudster has used a capital letter in the middle of a sentence! eg : " service Station ". Usually we write as follows : " service station " and not "service Station"!! Also the words "Selection", "Database" and "Delivery" use capital letter in the middle of a sentence!

3. Residential address is spelled as " RESIDENCIAL ADDRESS "

There are a million others on the Intenet looking for soft prey like you using popular company names. Please do not fall prey to such gimmicks. The only people who'd be laughing all the way to a bank are the persons who send you such mail. Also it is very important to spread such awareness information to your friends. Who knows you might save your friends from falling getting robbed!

This is totally fake. These are mostly Nigerian fraudsters who play these kind of games with innocent internet users. This is scam. There was a news on one of the indian channel. A school teacher who started using internet recently got this mail and was told that she has won a million pounds in lottery. She went crazy and sent them all the details. Then they told her that they need processing fees of 600 pounds, then another 1000 pounds and almost the same amount later. Poor woman transferred the money as they requested, she went to the extend of borrowing it from friends. After spending almost 3000 pounds she tried reaching these people and didn't get any response. Some internet savvy people gave her the result from address search and told her that the address is fake and the name of the company though is authentic but it doesn't operate in the fashion as described and experienced by that poor lady.
